Prayer, love and light request

I'm not sure this is in the right area, but wished to post a request that prayer, love and light be sent to my sister. She is 28 with an 18 month old daughter and has been fighting stage 4 lymphoma since February. She was told by the Doctor's last week that she has heart damage due to the chemo they had to use, the amount of damage isn't known yet. I'd also ask if it is possible a bit be sent my way too, please do as today/night has been really bad. It was a Sunday night at 911pm or 919pm a little over 4 months ago my boyfriend ODed, the combination of hearing this news of my sister today and still coming to terms with my loss are taking a toll. Truthsayer and Diana, I may end up writing here. The people on this site have been such a gift and blessing to me. Sometimes when I despair, I cannot see past it. Sometimes, I try to be strong for those around me, my sister, her baby, my Mom. Sometimes I think of what I call "the BIG picture" and am ashamed that my pain is little compared to the suffering the world over. And sometimes I can see light and beauty in the world. I see it in my children, in my loved anes and friends, and those here that have been so kind. please, kismet, don't yank yourself down further by degrading your pain down as inferior to those the world round. pain is pain is pain. there is no better or worse. no matter how good anybody appears to have it, their lot in life is no better or worse than yours. no wo/man is an island. i'm telling you this as one who has put others before herself to the point of self-destruction. if it had not been for the kindness of others helping me feel worthy of whatever it is i feel whether good or bad, i don't know if i would be here today. you may not believe it but i enjoy your posts. you are a sense of deep introspection about you. i know you are heavily evaluating the shadow aspects of your life these days but please don't be so harsh on yourself. i sense you may be feeling a lot of guilt and remorse for various reasons. whatever you feel is ok. i might not have felt your pain in the same way but i am well acquainted w/ pain as everyone here is. ((((((((((((((kismet))))))))))))))))) you are a precious human being and your life is worth every minute. it took me a while to believe that myself. (see the thread about abortion for more detail) but i believe i have a right to life. i'm not a serial killer. i don't hurt animals. i try to do good works by my fellow human being. being kind to yourself is as important as supporting others in time of need. if you push yourself until your pitcher is empty by never giving yourself healing time then you will burn out. get the "woman's comfort book". if you feel that you don't know how to treat yourself kindly then this book has wonderful simple ways to restore yourself emotionally and physically. i'm telling this from personal experience. in order to be healthy and survive, you must feed your soul. i care and so do more ppl than you can imagine.
