WOW "Earth Angels" by Doreen Virtue

I just bought this little book this afternoon and WOW!!! It's only $7 USA. But anyway it's called Earth Angels - A Pocket Guide for Incarnated Angels, Elementals, Starpeople, Walk-Ins, and Wizards. I had a complete!! "Oh so that's what I'm here for" moment!!!!! I can't tell you how cool this little book is. It tells about the different incarnations and explains them a bit. What's different about this book as opposed to her others that talk about this is she adds one category - Wise Ones (Wizards). As soon as I read about this I literally got tears in my eyes!!!! She has a small true/false question area to help narrow things down if you're not sure. It's just an amazing little book. I can't say enough about it. It's funny but after reading this book I can see where alot of you on this forum fit in perfectly!!!! :D

jema, A walk-in (as she explains it) is a person who decides not to stay here on earth but doesn't want to kill the body. So the original soul makes a deal :) with another to exchange the body. Most people who have this happen have some sort of life threatening or life changing time (or some just wake up this next morning feeling like a different person) where afterwards they seem to have almost a completely different outlook on life. To the point of wanting to change their name, career, living location,not caring for loved ones the same, etc. Virtue says that alot of people who go through this will say how others around them point out how they're just not the same - that they seem like a completely different person from before. I know this sounds really weird, but it makes sense to me with some of the stories I've heard with other people. I even emailed Doreen Virtue last night after reading the book! I had such a eye-opening good feeling after reading it I wanted to let her know. Because she writes in the book that she was very hesitant to release this information. She thought it would be too strange for people! And while it IS very strange it sure explains alot with me!!! LOL And jema - if this makes any sense to you (you think you might be a walk-in) I'd suggest trying to find a copy of this book. After the quiz, each chapter is devoted to explaining the different categories. And let me tell you - they say ALOT!! It's amazing.

Faunabay: Where did you find your copy? I read Ruth Montgomery's Strangers Among Us, Enlightened Beings from a World to Come. It discussed walk-ins & included accounts of such.

I just went to check and amazon.com does have it listed! :) And a friend just emailed me and said he found it at his local Borders bookstore. So it shouldn't be too hard to find.

faunabay!(sigh of exasperation!) you would go and find a book on a subject that has long interested me. i read the ruth montgomery books on walk ins more years ago than i care to admit! i haven't seen or heard of another book mentioning walk in, etc. until i read this post. i don't know whether to hug you or stop speaking to you! LOL :D :* amazon has heard from me. })

I immediately connected with the Wise Ones (Wizards) category as soon as I read it in the introduction. Then when I took the quiz I scored 100% for that section!!!! So I'm pretty much a Wise One!! Dear Faunabay and Truthsayer, it is rude to talk about poeple you know rarely come "below the line" ~giggles~ :P :D Well I finally got the book, and I have not read it all but I DID read the elemental section and yes, that pretty much sums me up *ROFLMAO* ... I thought I might be a "dabbler" but after reading the elemental section there was no doubt in my mind ... so nice to be so easily identified *LOL*. I guess that certainly explains my love of mermaids and faeries, I am one *ROFLMAO* ... suppose that makes me a narcisist of some sort? ~giggles madly~ ~Runs back into the tub of salt water to see if she can finally grow fins~

i got my earth angel book today and took the test. i am something of a dabbler but i am an independent. i'm not an angel or elemental. i am part star person, walk-in, and wise one. i read as much as i could of the book while waiting for my oil to be changed. the results feel on target and tinged with a tad of sadness. i'm not sure what all this means but i want to learn more.some examples of the ringers: i've been feeling dazed and confused(walk-in signs) for at least 3 years. perhaps learning more will help the adjustment. i know i have been burned at the stake--wise one. i often feel homesick like earth is not my real home--star person. faunabay, i've decided that i forgive you for making me get this book. it seems to be the perfect book for me to read at this point in time. so here's your hug-- (((((((faunabay))))))

thanks! i needed that. :) btw, can you recommend other doreen virture books? i almost bought angel therapy and angel prescriptions or something like that last weekend. do you have any favs? which of her decks do you like best? of course, i've had 2 of them and traded them both before realizing(like 6 monthes to a year later or today) that i wish i had kept them. i don't understand why i keep doing this to myself!! LOL you and jewel are dangerous to my financial health! ;)

the other doreen virtue books I really liked were her "Healing with the Angels" and "Healing with the Fairies" books. They sound like they'd just be books explaining the decks but they're not at all. They really don't even mention the decks at all - maybe in passing but that's it. Great Books!!! Another one of her's I really liked is called "The Lightworkers Way". It's kind of (slightly) a biography, but it gives alot of useful information about other things as well.

Hm, you make me crious about these walk in things as in the past few months I felt somehow different and ppl even asked me what is wrong as they also had the impression to have to deal with someone else.

I also saw certain qualities of the other Earth Angels that I related to, but on closer scruitiny I know I am an Elemental through and through. Now if I can only get the fins I am set! *ROFLMAO*. Ohhhhh and I started using the shielding techniques last night and they worked! Truthsayer I have the book Healing With Faeries, and am about to start reading it. I will let you know. A good friend of mine has both Healing With Angels and Healing With Faeries (which I gave to her with the cards) and she highly recommends them as well. She is an Incarnated Angel.

I loved this book -- I read it recently myself due to the recommendation (i think) of faunabay on a totally different thread. For me, I was beginning to wonder as I read if anything really applied to me. Then, I got to the Wise Ones chapter and went ohhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! :D I have long hair, I'm 5'8, I have a long narrow face, I've always been elemental/fae-friendly (but not feeling a fae myself, mind you). I've been told several times, and for myself, that I've been brought back this time around to help out in any way I can (however small that may be). And, I've had to "dust off" my psychic abilities to do so, as Virtue says. In any case, this book is fabulous! I read it quickly, and for anyone who has ever thought, geez I don't know how I ended up on this planet, you may wanna read this little book.

I just barrowed that book from my friend, I'm for sure a "Wise One". I believe that i was once someone who practiced witchcraft and was hung, because of the witch trials and stuff. I was sent back to earth to bring happiness and wise choices to others. Everything that it said about being a wise one. I'm exact match!!!
