I've though a lot before starting this thread, but I really need help. My mother has been having health problems since 1998. The first thing she had was a brain tumor (big scare) she had to be operated and everything went fine. But she was never completely OK. She has been having problem after problem, staying home, doing exams, going to doctors, etc,etc, and I feel that there is something wrong with her. I have the feeling that somebody threw a spell or something like that on her and that she needs to be "cleaned" of that, you know what I mean?
Anyway, if you know anything I can do to help her please tell me. I'm even thinking about doing the 1st level of reiki to relieve her, I think that would help, but... I would appreciate any advise you give me.
thanks in advance

Have you talked with her about the situation?
What is bothering you may not necessarily be upsetting her.
Before you start performing rituals, you should take care that its wanted. Although there's a bit more leeway with family, it is still an intrusion into someone else's life.

anjocoxo: I don't know what the best thing to do is, but I just wanted to give you a hug: {{{{{{{{{{*HUG*}}}}}}}}}}
I hope you are able to find a solution, and that your mum will get better soon. Sending light!

PS: I agree with divinerguy. Maybe you should ask her if it's ok to try to get rid of the spell (if there is one).

Of course that whatever I do it will be with her permission; actually we've talked about it several times and she agrees with me. It's just that I don't know WHAT to do. I think I'll try the reiki and then we'll see (but it's going to take a while until I do the first level).
I probably will also try to do some massages... I'm so desperate b/c I see that it's really hurting her (physically) and there's nothing I can do... it's so frustrating.
Anyway, thanks for your support

i once worked w/ ppl who had traumatic brain injuries. one thing that often happens if someone has brain surgery is that there are personality and behavioral changes. i met one man before his brain surgery and he seemed focused, self-confident, and goal oriented. after the surgery and for monthes later, he was confused and unsure of himself. he told me he remembered how he once felt about things and did things but found he could no longer do those things. he felt very frustrated. i lost track of him eventually so i don't know if he got better.
if this is the case with your mother, a person who specializes in brain disorders might be of help. in my area, one was a neuropsychologist and another was a neuropsychiatrist. there are special tests that assess what areas of the brain are affected and how personality and behavior might change. even if nothing can change her back to who she was before surgery, it may be a relief to know if this is what's wrong.
another place to try for such a specialist is a rehabilitation center that works w/ ppl who need long term rehab from an injury. why not do a web search on "traumatic brain injury" and see what comes up. there are numerous support groups out there for ppl w/ brain injuries and their families.
good luck. if you would like more info, please let me know. i know you are in a frustrating situation and would help if i can.
