Hi All,
some interesting things are going on around me and it's good but stressful. keeping the God/Goddes in the forefront for a reason! when i step out of their light and love things don't feel right and usually go wrong.
case in point, just read the evening news! the person who murdered a good friend of mine was found quilty of 3 or 4 different counts and may face 100 yrs in prison. he has no remorse is a career criminal w/violence against women. i've been praying for 3 years that justice be served and it will be. now my friend's spirit, Anne Marie is free. her family and friends will never be the same. but now we can smile that she is in the hands of the gods!
so tonight, i and another friend will be celebrating w/a glass of merlot or a shot of tequila the way she would've partied w/us on many occassions. we will toast to justice and to her spirit. and party on!!!!!
so my point here is not to take the moment for granted because it can change in a matter of a nanosecond.
peace and love to all!!!!!

I'm so pleased for you and your friends family.
It must feel like a great weight has been lifted from your shoulders as not only justice been served and has been seen to be served, but for all of you there will be a little piece of closure, and as I'm sure you already know, Anne Marie is only ever a thought away.
God/ess Bless you all, because I'm sure Anne Marie is already blessed, to have had such a friend as you.

(I can't remember where I saw this, but did she have long, dark curly hair, and was 'alluringly cuddlesome' as my uncle would put it? )

Peace and Love to you, PurpleGoddess. I celebrate in my heart for you and the solace knowing that the murderer will face consequences for his actions.

I just noticed this thread. Wish I'd seen it before!
I'm happy and sad at the same time.
I am happy because it is so good for all those left behind that this "person" has been arrested. It is a big weight off your mind, and with that weight off your mind, your friend will be able to continue her journey more peacefully, knowing that you are happier.
I am sad, well, because it's a sad story.

PurpleGoddess,
Bright blessings come in many shades of white.
May you find peace this earth and your friend Anne Marie in the heavens...
And may the body with no soul that sent her home enjoy the next 100 yrs in jail.
Blessings and have a shot for me...

It's nice to see you around again, PurpleGoddess. :)
I am pleased to hear the sotry ended the right way, and now both your friend and her parents, relatives and friends can finally continue yor journey without emotional burdens inside.
I celebrate with you, and thank the Gods who gave you all support though this and made so that the guilty one payed for his crimes.

it's nice to have the hugs and support from everyone here. i know that my journey is positive by the friends i've made in this forum. my wish for everyone who must go thru hardship know that the gods and goddess' are on our side and that they only want the best for us. i know that a part of anne marie is alive in me and was with me when i got my tattoo. my wish for this man to have remorse will never be a reality, he has a history of this kind of violence against women. i pray that the violence around the world comes to an end someday w/o world distruction. i pray that justice is served to all who have commited crimes and to the victims of these crimes.
have you noticed lately that there's more violence out there each day? i'm more sensitvie to it since my friends murder.
peace to all

yes, it's a mad, bad world it seems.
But the interesting thing is, the madder and badder it gets on an individual basis, the more people pull together on a group basis to balance it out.
The net for instance has so many spiritual and comforting places now, that internationally we can all add something to the grieving of one, wherever they are, like a comforting shoulder across the cyber miles.
The good intentions on the net will then be carried to the homes, families and environments of more and more people around the world, enlighteneing them, awaking them and hopefully we are all pulling together as one a bit more these days.
My vision is that the net can really change the world and help to bring about a change in the seeming acceptance of bad behaviour in our society today. All it takes is people being able to, through a forum such as this, and many others, openly speak, to impact on a hundred others who might never have known otherwise. You are speaking to them in their homes, their work, their school...their lives. And hopefully from there they in turn can speak to others who will pass it on to the next hundred and next hundred.
I am a firm believer in the new age of spiritual awakening coming, when we will all reach new levels of awareness, and it all has to start somewhere.
I believe the 'togetherness' of the net is the place to start. In fact, it already has started.

What a dreadful situation, because not only did your friend get murdered and deprived of this life, but all the suffering everyone close to her had to endure. I think about death a lot, but not in a morbid sense at all, about the purpose and frailty of life. As one of those who 'believe' in reincarnation and karmic debts, I am confused trying to sort out situations like this, like what sort of agreement or karmic debt could possibly justify something like this. I mean justify in a much larger sense than here on the physical plane because we operate down here by those laws. I don't think in my earthly body and mind that I can comprehend a situation like this, and would hate to be in the murderer's mind if and when he ever wakes up and takes responsibility for what he has done. It's so different actually having contact with someone who has been affected by such a heinous crime as this and I think is a reminder of how precious life is, and how it can be gone so fast, and that we are actually left with the residuals. Though there must be a cosmic balance, what a waste, an unfulfilled life…
