hi all,
i'd say i'm definitely among friends, from the looks of the threads! i'm new to the Craft (studying since February or March, 2002) and new to the Tarot (purchased my first deck in September). i would very much like to be included in any online ritual events, if possible. the Yule to Go was SO lovely. i'd love to be part of anything i would be welcome to participate in.
i look forward to learning more from all of you!
bright blessings,
~Urs

Well, welcome to the boards. Sometimes you have to read a lot of stuff, but this is an very active board and sometimes discussions go on a long time!
Feel free to ask questions; however there is a 'search' for topics and you should always check there first before starting a new thread. We do, however, not mind repeating ourselves at times.

Hi Ursula,
don't forget it takes all sorts to make a world, so WELCOME from one of the non wiccan, eclectic Aeclecticians here, and we all look forward to hearing from you on the boards.

Not that I don't cast spells... well, no I don't! :D *LOL* I have't for a while... But I have created some talismans and done some healing and candle magick...
I knew what I believed in was Wicca on these boards, thanks to Tarot cards.
Life is weird, isn't it? ;) *LOL*
Actually I can't say I AM a Wiccan, since my practice is far too minimal and marginal... But that's the way I am headed right now, and the path I am studying and working on. :)
NOW; when will tarotbear start posting about Rituals again? Weren't you supposed to poast about a Rose Cross ritual? ;) *hint hint* *LOL*

Hiya Ursula,
I have also studied Wicca amongst my other paths, and consider it part of the whole of my beliefs (I am another one of those philosophical buffs :D)
We love hearing/discussing/often debating different points of view here, and we certainly don't mind an extra voice.
I think you will find as many solitary practioners of their paths as those who work with a group, so the points of view from all sides I am sure will help you along your own way as well.
Welcome and Namaste.

Welcome, welcome, welcome, Ursula!
There are many many Wiccans, Pagans, Witches, etc here on Aeclectic, and it is wonderful that we can all discuss things openly with non-Pagans/Wiccans/Witches. Often we find that the Pagans and non-Pagans agree on quite a few things!
As such, don't be shy, ask any questions you want (Esp. about Wicca and Paganism: We have some great discussions on these topics!) and of course feel free to express your views and opinions to other people's questions.
Looking forward to talking to you on the boards!

Actually, I have posted it, but come to think...that was a different forum. I will copy and paste the Rose Cross, and the LBRP (Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram) after I do a search to make sure I am not repeating myself ( Tarotbear repeat himself? NEVER!)
I'll put them in the "Spirituality" section.

thanks so much for the warm welcome on this and all other boards! i've been posting now for a few hours and i think i may need to go do something else... eventually ;)
anyhoot, just to add: i've pursued several paths and enjoy discussing many forms of spirituality. while i have abandoned a path or two in my life, i think i'll always consider myself a Witch and probably a Wiccan, given my inner connections to all things nature. it just fits--feels like it's always been me and always will be, regardless of the form it takes or has taken.
i am also a Unitarian Universalist, however, and believe that all forms of spirituality are valid and interesting, so i look forward to many and varied discussions here--thanks again!!!
peace,
~Urs :OL
