Their Egyptian Museum on San Jose (outside San Francisco), and their library (also on the same site) is well worth a visit, as is their Paris centre (their French headquarters is in an old Chateau which I have not, unfortunately, visited).
AMORC has a programme of monographs for weekly home study (as does BOTA, by the way), which includes neither Tarot nor Kabbalah (though there is a 'side' study of the Kabalah following its fourth degree).
It also has a number of Lodges (and smaller chapters and even smaller pronaos) in various locations around the world, in which ritualistic work is carried out.
In the UK (only), it is classified as a quasi-Masonic body - though I can tell you from experience that I would personally definitely not class it as such (I was on a ritualistic team in one of its Lodges around 1982, and have also held ritualistic positions in various Masonic orders).
The fiasco following the death of its second Imperator lead to a couple of splits, each of which still exists.
It should be noted that, unless I am out of date, its own historical claims leave much to be desired!
