After reading the previous thread and Laurel’s ritual which I found very inspiring I thought of the following and posted this:
This is the thread I am referring to http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=9689 .
Working with Tarot Affirmations for neuro-linguistic programming.
Each Tarot Card has an affirmation in a web site I found (see the end of message).
Draw the card of the day and say in your head at least 50 times the affirmation of that card (while driving, cooking, while taking the dog for a walk or whatever).
The card of the day is the advice card and outlook of the day and you would want to draw the positive powers of that card during that day. I also think this would be particularity powerful for negative cards to turn the day into a positive day - IMHO.
For example the Nine of Swords Affirmation would be: “Love dissolves cruelty and fills the world with beauty”.
Every day you should say the affirmation of the card drawn for the day (and the same affirmation if the second day the same card turned up).
For how long you do this? Well as this is a new idea and I haven’t tried it yet, I would assume until the affirmations come up automatically in your head (without thinking) once you look at a card randomly.
Another way of doing this:
Each day you say the card affirmation from the beginning of the week, while each new day you ADD the new affirmation. By the end of the week you should be saying 50 times, 8 affirmations (the weekly card + seven days). Of course if you have no weekly card you have only 7 affirmations. I think this might be too much if you are working and doing other things as well…..
Card Affirmations for the card of the day: http://www.angelpaths.com/working.html
As a side note, I saw on this web site an entire page with all the affirmations (a short cut), but I can’t find this page anymore, maybe they updated the site. So, if you intend to try this I would suggest to copy out all the affirmations first (of all the cards) as I have bad experiences with Web Sites being off line from time to time and even disappearing (natural evolutionary process).
Your thoughts, comments, modifications etc., etc., are welcome.

Hey, thanks, Karen. I found another use for these affirmations as I was looking at this site.
For Xmas, I got the Shining Tribe tarot. A few night's ago I did my first small spread with it, and pulled three cards. I have been thinking about these cards ever since (trying to absorb the message rather then pull a new spread the very next night for extra clarification as I tend to do). Anyway, when I read your post & went to the site, I clicked on the three cards and went straight to the affirmations - and found that the affirmations served as a direct and straightforward "message" that I could work with (sometimes I overthink readings).

Hi Amyel.
Glad you've got this beautiful deck. I am still working with it on a weekly basis with the three cards.
It's been a really good process for me. I draw the cards and think about them myself for a while. Then I usually read Rachel Pollack's comments because it is quite unknown mythology for me, and I find her interpretations affirming and sensitive.
I find that during the week, at all times of the day and night thoughts come to me about the cards. I think this is beginning to work at a deep level.
It is important for me to synthesize this at the end of the week, however, and to write it down. Writing it down helps me remember and is a spiritual record. The synthesis just flows out these days.
On Saturday I'm picking up my copy of the Forest of Souls, Rachel Pollack's most recent book. I think she refers to the Shining Tribe quite a lot in this. Have you heard about it. There are a few reviews here. Holmes did a good one.
Sorry if this is a bit off topic
My best wishes,
Moongold

Thanks Amyel, after reading your message I went back and put the affirmations under the weekly cards for one week and it came out like a poem with a message..... wow, that is another cool thing to do with these affirmations.

My best wishes,
Moongold I love the deck so far...my biggest challenge is finding a quiet space to work with them on a regular basis...but I don't think the cards can help me there!

this is a great idea, thanks!!!
next to this i have found a website with gemstones also with affirmations, so for the ones who work with stones you can translate this idea on working with stones like you can do this with tarot...
this is the site:
http://www.mahatma.co.uk/crystal_manual/crystal_properties.htm
a list of stones is includes, when you click on the link you first get the properties of the stone and underneath the text you get the affirmation...
with love,
sara.
