Hey everyone,
I had a strange experience today that has led me to open this new thread. I would appreciate your comments.
I had finished class and was taking a stroll around town, and about five times I raised my head to see a bird flying straight at me but higher than me, if you know what I mean. The good thing is that it didn't **** on me HEHEHE, but I was wondering if perhaps spirit could appear as a symbol or a sign.
I have had numerous spiritual experiences and was wondering if this could be a way of spirit telling me that is spirit is nearby.
Thoughts?

absolutely. especially if this was your thought at the time it happened. do you know the kind of bird it was? the number of times it flew over may be significant as well.
there is even a divination system around birds called augury. if a bird is flying straight toward you, it is supposed to be a sign of good luck. the higher it is flying the better the luck.

Hey Zorya, it looked like a crow. But a kinda cute crow HEHEHE. This happened to me when I was back home for Christmas. A crow stopped infront of me about three times in the same day and sort of waited there for a while before taking off. And it's happened a few times since then. Always a crow. And I always stop and actually notice it. I never consciously notice these things!
Why would spirit choose to show themselves in this way??
What purpose would there be for this? And have you or anyone else had similar experiences?

Hi,
In my mind the crow and the eagle represent 2 0f my guides..even have stones I cary with the images engraved..verry kewl stones...
My eagle (Ughe) flys above me and protects me. My Crow (denis) sits by me with messages.
OK..now the Christmas pigion story..
I spend a lot of time going back and forth to moms..well 2 days in a row (just before christmas) as I was coming out of mom's back door, there was a pigion sitting on the phone wires to the house with a branch in her mouth looking strait at me. It was like she was waiting for me each day.
it was strange..and yet beautiful..she was a brown/gray pigion..
watch for the animals and you will see them and know why they were sent..
if anyone has a clue about the pigion, let me know.
Blessings,
CJ

Sounds like they want to get your attention & either make you THINK about something, or get you wondering enough to look into something.
Crow/Raven is a message bringer for a lot of people. They're intelligent & social, but not given to being close to people a whole lot.
Next time, think at them 'what's the message you're trying to tell me?' and see what happens.

Cheers, thanks for that! It's just a little strange is all. I always see it and notice it, whether it be just flying away, or above my head, or watching me; but always at quite close range.
How did you find out your Guides names CJ? And how did you know which was the crow and which was the eagle? When I saw the crow today my first instinctive thought was that it was a spirit guide. I suppose on a subconcsious level, I have been trying to reach out to my guide; perhaps this was him/her telling me that he/she has heard me. I don't know.
Thanks for your advice Hudson. I will do that the next time it happens.

Hi Centaur,
Definately sounds like an animal totem. Crow is definately trying to get your attention :)
Having an animal as a spirit guide is completely normal! One of my spirit guides is Jaguar and is the first spirit guide to introduce himself/herself to me and I never ever expected to have an animal guide until he/she appeared in my life.
