Healing hands? "I feel" gift

A clairvoyant once told me I had "healing hands" & that I was gifted! Another told me that I will be doing what she's doing later on in life, another told me on two visits, that I have the "I feel" gift & should buy a deck of cards & start reading...... What exactly are "healing hands"? I feel gift, I know what it is.....I'm 99.% right, I just choose not to say anything, cause when I do my friends give me the "Huh" look or yeah right, stop being wacky look. *sigh* Does anyone else have either gift?

i think most of us have several of those "gifts" it is all about being aware of them and accepting them and working with them and not against them. and i would also say it takes discipline, one would have to really commit to healing for it to be a "gift" - if you accept it - then see it not as a gift to you - but from you to the world. when you use it it is a gift - otherwise it is not. same with readings. it sure is nice to have intuition, but most of the time it don't come for free. at least it never did for me. i worked many years to learn to do readings, i still do. i am curious about what you do tell your friends when you read for them if you are not telling them what you see? perhaps i misunderstood you. i was thinking that if you want to see just what healing hands can bring - why not book an appointment with a healer, recieve some healing, talk to the healer and see what you feel about it. perhaps it is something that will call to you.

I think that the gift of healing and interpreting cards is something everybody has but some are more wiling or able to accept and use this gift. Some, for instance, have more empathy and intuition, two thing which are needed for healing and interpretiung respectively. So, I'd say yes, I have both 'gifts', but I've also had to learn how to use them properly. I must say, I can use intepreting better htan healing, simply cuz I've had more practice at the former and less and the latter. :D Kiama

besides the use of the tarot, she may be pointing you into a whole new realm! massage therapy or some other kind of hands on healing. not everyone who goes to massage therapy school has the "gift" and have to work extra hard to get it. myself and a couple of other classmates have this "gift" of healing hands. we humbly know that we are guides, witnesses to physical, spiritual and emotional healing in our clients. and that's just after 6 weeks of school. my clients think i've been giving massage for 6 years instead of 6 weeks! my cards have been calling to me this week. they have picked up on the psyhic energy that's flowing through my apartment. it took me a long time to figure out what i wanted to do w/my life's work. i've had readers tell me that i would be working w/my hands. about 12 yrs later my path found me. i suggest that you journal all your thoughts about what "healing hands" mean to you and look into the careers that nuture this healing. i believe for me that this natural instinct in massage therapy are my healer ancestor's coming through me. so good luck and be well! :THP :TQC

I know you'll enjoy it as much as I do!! :) I've been doing massage for a little over 4 years now and I absolutely love it! I also had someone tell me I had healing hands. It only took me 15 years of doing something else (video production) LOL before I began doing what I was here on this planet for! I have many clients ask if I've put some kind of heating pad on them - only to find out it was my hands they were feeling!! But you (as a massage therapist) can only help people who accept the healing! I've found that no matter how much I want to help people it just doesn't work unless they're open to it. So I have realized it's not me at all, but the people healing themselves. I'm just there as the conduit or channel!!! I always finish my massage by laying one hand on the top and one hand on the bottom of the spine and asking the angels/guides/etc. of the person to transform any negativity the person is ready to release into a positive energy. You'd be surprised at how much (and sometimes how little) I can feel changing. Sometimes I actually see dark cloud-like things coming out of the person and being changed into a lighter "cloud" which then surrounds the person!!! It's so rewarding!

I once was holding someone's hand. At the time I felt sympathy for them. After I let go I was told tht the arthritis pain and stiffness was gone... WHAT? I was told the same...'you have healing hands'....and like you I don't mention this so I have not been able to test this...
