Notre Dame de Paris... My life... My destiny...

Namaste!

I looked around this website and I think this would probably be a place I could find someone to listen to me, without thinking that I'm a nut. Well, I think you're going to think I'm crazy, but as I always say, "You never try, you never know."

This started last july... I heard about the Notre Dame de Paris musical (based on the Hunchback of Notre Dame) and I really liked it. So I got all of the soundtracks... yada yada yada... At that time I was completely going googly over SpiderMan (tobey mcguire). I dressed like Mary Jane, yes yes, you can say, I was obsessed. But ever since I watched the movie for abou the 20th time, I started to get early awareness of danger, weird messages, and my first vision.

Anyways, one day, I was IMing my best friend, listening to the Notre Dame music. When suddenly, something hit me. I noticed that SpiderMan and Notre Dame are actually similar. Mary Jane = Esmeralda, Peter Parker = Quasimodo, etc... I got an email from a woman, who thought this may be some how connected with my past life or so. I thought, maybe I'm esmeralda? I did research and found out so. My vision happened in the time of 1482 the time of the Notre Dame de Paris story. One night, I woke up at around 4:00 - 4:30am, I don't remeber exactly and saw something floating in my room. I thought, I'm dreaming, so I turned to the window and saw a meteor shower, I then turned around and saw a girl/woman. by my secret bookshelf. So stupid... i didn't remember what she looked like. But I think she is my image of Ave Maria. (I am eastern orthodox mainly, but I don't really have a religion.) I walked up to her, perhaps she would be an answer to my question. She looked at me as if waiting for a question, so I asked her. "Am I really Esmeralda?" She said yes. I asked her, "And I' really going to die at that certain age?"(the age that esmeralda died) She said yes. I looked down on the floor beside me thinking "Oh my God! So I live Esmeralda's destiny". I called my other best friend the next morning. She said perhaps it may be someone from the future trying to warn me. I still thought. I can't believe I live Esmeralda's life, her destiny. I am Esmeralda... I will die when I'm 16... Only a few years to live...

There's alot more to this story. Other things happened that proved it. I was Esmeralda in my Past live and I live it again once more...

Esmeralda

Please tell me if you believe me and if anything similar happened to you.

I'm almost 13. I know my bday from my past life. I have 2 astrological signs (hey fun!) ! My (past life) b-day is January 26.

My dear Esmeralda, I have read the novel by Victor Hugo, Notre Dame de Paris. IN french. It was a really engulfing read. I have to tell you that I do not think that Esmeralda really lived. I think she was a fictional character. That does not mean that there weren't people like her who really did live. But I have an idea that their lives were a good deal more boring than the novel or the musical.

Victor Hugo had a fantastic imagination, and wrote many wonderful thrillers, like Travailleurs de la mer, where men fight for their lives with a giant octopus.

This thread will probably get moved because it is not related to tarot, but I just wanted to answer you right away, and urge you not to believe that you are going to die like a fictional character in a book, at 16. Sometimes you can cause bad things to happen by believing that they will. It is not a good idea for you at 13 to believe this! Please talk to someone you know, someone, close to you, anyone about these thoughts!!!

It sounds like you have a very vivid imagination, I suggest writing the whole vision down, and make it into a story. Maybe you can use your visions to become a writer or a painter.
Good luck.

LOL! THe day I posted this... My best online friend signed on, and somehow, we got into the fact about my past life... and then she told me about Karma and stuff, and guess what? Im not going to die... but if I dont, So amny things are going to go wrong because they're not what they're suppposed to be, I did a Tarot rading for me and thats exactly what it said, that I will die, but.. UGH! Im so confused!!!!!!!!

Not too funny actually.

Especially scary coming from a girl your age. I'm going to sound like a parent now, but I can't help it. I am one.

Rule #1 YOU are the one that CREATES your future. Not tarot cards, not dreams, not visions. Right now I see you creating a very dim future for yourself. If you don't like the the life you are delt now, make sure you change it. You are at the perfect age to start doing this.

Rule #2 Tarot does NOT predict the future. It may sugest a certain direction based on how things are going, but NOTHING about the future is set in stone.

Rule #3 Your past lives are just that. PAST, so let go of them and live this one.

Esmarelda, if you are confused and let me tell you, so was I at 13. Talk to a grown up for advise, not your on line friends. To some of them, your very real feelings mean nothing. If you do not feel comfortable talking to any grownups in your home, talk to someone at your school. A teacher perhaps that you feel comfortable talking to.

And if you don't take any of my advise above at the very least, read my little motto below and follow that advise

With love and understanding,

Mimers

Hi Esmerelda!

Welcome to the Spirituality forum: Hope you're enjoying it and the other forums here on Aeclectic!

I have to agree with Mimers, though I'm not a parent. ;)

A wise Jedi oce said to me... 'Always in motion is the future.' And I believe this. The future is always in motion, simply because it is never set in stone and we influence what happens in the future by doing certain things in the present. Tarot cards and dreams may say I'm gonna get married, but if I don't actually go out and take the time to find mysel a man I want to settle down with, I'm NEVER gonna get married, despite what dreams and Tarot cards say! (Luckily, I AM gonna get married! ;):D)

The same is true of death and bad things. If a deam or Tarot cards say that you are gonna have something bad happen to you, they are giving you a warning as to what COULD happen if you carry on acting/htinking that way. This leavees you free to influence the future so that bad things don't happen. You could do this by actively taking steps to prevent the bad occurrance. For instance, if a dream said you were gonna fall in a river and nearly drown, don't go near any rivers! (It's a ba example, but it illustrates my point.)

I don't know the story of Notre Fame at all, so can't comment on whether or not I believe you really were Esmerelda in a past life. What I DO know about however is that there are also future lives, which are to be savoured and enjoyed and grabbed with both hands and a huge hug!

Enjoy this life, and grab every single opportunity wiht both hands. And if there aren't any opportunities around at th etime, create some! :D

Blessings on your journey.

Right, what use is knowing about a past life if it bogs you down in this one? Perceived or not, wishful thinking or not, imagination or not, it's what you do in this life that determines your future & your next life.

Keep an open mind about everything, live life to the max, and always be learning. That's the way to go!
