I've been required to read this facinating article in my comparitive religions course by Carol Christ. It's about why women need a Goddess as well as a God. Has anyone else heard of it? I tried to post it on my website but I am unable to get the link to work since the file is .pdf and I've never worked with them before. :(

Yes, I have heard of it. In fact, I have a whole library full of books on that same topic. I don't know anything about posting it on your website, though.

I'd go further and say men need a goddess too! The feminine side of men has been eaten away by patriarchal religions that see the feminine as either weakness or worse still 'evil'. Thus we have a society with real hang ups and little spiritual depth. As soon as we realise that the original trinity was Father, Mother and Child then we may begin to get some sanity back into the world.
