So many people...so little peace.....
Is there any interest in joining in a unified meditation for 20 minutes at the same time?
This board is a unique forum with good souls from all over the world. Imagine if we put our collective peaceful energy together for 20 minutes at the same time? That would be a lot of uplifting energy raised with the intention of lifting the energy level of a world worn down.
I was sent an article this week that talked about the only way to create peace is to be peaceful...........The only way to stop war is to start within yourself. You must do personal disarmament. The only way to get and stay peaceful is to concentrate on what brings you peace and resist the downward spiral of negative emotions that blames others for your lack of peace.
That which you give your attention expands. So we need to exchange our emotions of anger, hatred and fear to those associated with compassion and peace.
Studies have shown that our thought can and do affect others in profound and measurable ways. Imagine all of the angels and non-physical beings who are working on the other side to protect and uplift us all. They can only do their work in an atmosphere of compassion, not condemnation.
Whatever way you express peace, rieki, prayer, Zen mediation, just sitting quietly.........we could all do it together at the same time with the intention of raising the positive energy field of this beautiful planet, earth.
I need help on choosing a date & time...please let me know your thoughts.

Ruby Red: I was thinking along the same lines. Count me in! Due to the different time zones & personal schedules, perhaps we could include a window of a few hours to permit all interested to participate. That would also provide for a more continuous effort & effect. Due to my work schedule, I may not see follow-ups on this. Please PM me if a date & a time should be determined. Thanks!

You may count me in . I want to do something POSITIVE in this time of great negativity. I am tired of feeling helpless and alone and confused by so many images of this war . Thanks for coming up with a way we can all feel connected to the great reservoir of love and spitituality that is part of our heritage as children of God/dess. :)) blessings and joy to all! Wolfen

A message of Peace..something we can ALL participate in...to make a difference...and a child will lead them......
Message from the Psychic Children......
Beloved Friends,
Last weekend 600 people gathered on the Big Island of Hawaii to listen to
the messages of peace from several of the Psychic Children we have been
working with over the past year. I believe it was one of the most profound
experiences any of us have ever had, and the Children themselves were
overjoyed with the opportunity. In fact, during a panel discussion on
Sunday, they presented their idea of a world wide prayer vigil that they
believe would have a profound effect on the current crisis in Iraq. Its
simplicity and wisdom is overwhelming, and the fact that the idea comes from
children makes it irresistible.
They want to call this:
A Prayer Vigil for George Bush
They explained that there is so much energy against President Bush that we
are not helping him make decisions for the highest good of every person on
the planet. The more we focus on what we don't like, the more it increases.
They suggest that we See him as God would, and focus on the Light in the
President, thereby amplifying the Light. The children believe that if
hundreds of thousands of people do this at the same moment, then the effect
on his consciousness would be profound. I have to agree.
Therefore, we have decided to conduct an mergency "Great Experiment IV" and
are asking all the Spiritual Peacemakers around the world to join us in this
important project.
Here are the details:
April 1, 2003, 11 AM New York time, 8 AM California Time (determine your own
time zone based on this) Hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people,
will join together for fifteen minutes as one mind and pray for President
Bush (and all those who influence his decision making) to make all his
decisions based on the highest good of all beings on earth. The Children
suggested that we begin by imagining him as a little boy, and use our energy
to empower his heart. They say that the boy is still within him, though he
is very afraid. He doesn't need to be attacked for what he is doing, but
loved,
not for his actions, but for the Truth within him. We call this: "Seeing as
God Sees and Loving as God Loves." If possible, gather with other people
during this vigil, and please pass this E-mail on to as many people as you
can to help spread the word.
Hundreds of people will be joining together in Washington, DC to anchor
these important prayers. We are in the process of securing a permit for a
location as close to the White House as possible, and will have children
present a section of the "Children's Cloth of Many Colors" at the White
House that same day. (The Children's Cloth of Many Colors is over one-third
of a mile long, and is made up of pieces of cloth that have been infused
with the energy of peace from tens of thousands of children from around the
world. It came from the original "Cloth of Many Colors" peace project I
started in 1999 which has been presented at the UN in New York, the US
Capitol, the Pentagon, and many

The Children wanted me to stress that this has nothing to do with agreeing
or disagreeing with President Bush in regard to the war in Iraq. They say
that in order to be Spiritual Peacemakers we must release our judgment and
focus only on the higher good. George Bush has the power to effect the lives
of so many people, and we pray that he will do so with compassion and peace.
The intention of this vigil is to break down the walls of fear and increase
the love in his heart. It is the gift of the children. Please join us.
Once again, April 1, 11 AM EST, fifteen minutes sending George Bush all the
love you have in your heart. And tell the whole world.

That is a very good plan. I find myself thinking negatively about Bush a lot, so I contribute to the whole of negativity. All that negativity infleunces him, so he radiates that, which results in more negativity coming his way. It's a circle. I will certainly join all those others in trying to break that circle.

Many thanks for bringing this to everyone's attention - it's a brilliant concept!
At the risk of sticking my neck out and being unpopular, I have to say that I have always felt that George Bush is essentially a Good Man who is doing his very best in the most embattled times. It's extremely unfortunate that he can come across as a latter-day cowboy and I really don't think he understands how that could happen.
Count me in - maybe a couple of hours late as 11am in NY seems to be around 4pm here and sadly I don't think my employers would understand if I downed tools midafternoon! But my thoughts will be with you.

To remind those who may be interested that this is a great idea & one of many opportunities to cast our collective pebble into the pool of collective consciousness!
Since I lucked out & have the day "off", I shall be participating at the suggested time & throughout the day. Am also incorporating a wee ritual.
Those who hold the reigns of leadership in the mundane world need the appropriate & responsible support of their constitutents in order to carry out their jobs in a like manner. Thoughts are things sent out into the delicate fabric of our universe. We are what we think, convey, so forth. Let us seek to manifest that which is for the greater good.
Keep in mind that in Spirit, all Time is Here&Now so whenever one is able to give a moment to this exercise will work in the greater picture.

In his book "Praying Peace", James Twyman reminds us of something very very important. (It is a book where he is in conversation with Doreen Virtue and Gregg Braden.) Please take heed:
"Whatever we focus our mind on grows. When we pray "for" peace, we focus on the lack of peace. If your intention is to be peace, then our prayers will reflect that and become peace, thus allowing more peace and harmony to be perceived by all. Peace is always present, even when conflict seems to prevail. When we "Pray Peace", we actually increase the peace that is hidden beneath the layers of hatred, pulling it into conscious experience."
So let's not pray for peace. Let us just be peace. All of us.
I am reminded also of the first two Reiki principles:
Just for today, do not anger.
Just for today, do not worry.
Let the light shine. And shine brightly. On every single person without excluding a single one. And most important, let it shine on YOU.
