I cuddled a frind cos he was upset and easily hurt. as i cuddled him i healed his pain. Can anyone please explain how i came a healer over night. I have no idea and it is bugging the hell out of me. I know i have a gift but how did it come to me and where did it come from. Please explain. if you can

He split up with the girl 6 minuites before seeing me i healed his pain but i want to know how did i come a healer and where did my powers come from

I believe anyone can be healers in their own way. You helped your friend by showing him love.. which is most likely something he needed at that point. I know when I'm down in the dumps and someone shares a hug with me, a simple smile, kind words.. it helps to uplift my feelings. To me that is a form of healing.

The power to heal never comes from us. It is always from a greater source and we are just channels. If you start believing that your healing powers come from you, you will lose them or, even worse, abuse them.
But it is a good feeling when one has helped someone in need, and it is not wrong to feel good about it. On the contrary.

Amythist: Congratulations for realising the potential you have to help others. :D I personally believe that every single person is a healer, in one way or another, but some of us just don't realise it. Some people take away other's pain through simply being there for them and being a friend, guiding them to finding their own cure for the hurt. Whilst others use energy to heal somebody, and others use what I would term 'transference'. The 'transference' is what I think you did: You moved your friend's pain from him into your hand. The thing to be careful of with this kind of transference, is that you must make sure you do not take on the pain yourself... Next time you feel the pain on you somewhere, such as in your hand, throw it away, or ground it into the earth and focus on it becoming neutral energy so it won't harm anybody else. And make sure your friend fills the gap left by the pain! A gap is just as bad as a wound!

Thankyou for the answers i really needed 1. Next time i will learn how to take the pain from them in to my hands and put it in the ground. (But wont the ground feel pain LOL) It seemed to happen over night i feel it is weird how it happened.

kiama, great advice.
and no... amythist, the ground will not feel it. energy is energy. how you choose to use it makes it good or bad. give the pain with love to the earth and you shall recieve the blessings that come from being a loving, caring, considerate conduit. thank the creator of all that is for the awakened abilities within you. let the creator know you only wish to help and that you are a willing participant in the healing process of many. but do be aware of what kiama said, as well as diana, and do not allow your ego to think it is you who is the healer... mearly the conduit. say a prayer or do a ritual before attempting to heal anyone and do not take the energies to youself. clear your fields after and again thank the healing angels or creator angels that has assisted in your work.

I will do my best to acheive everyhing you have told me. I find my gift rewarding. I didnt mind being a healer it was like a dream come true. I will use it wisely and when needed. I have not got no intenson of telling people i am a healer Thankyou.

Amythist: I've read a whole lot of books on the subject of healers--those who can do it with their physical presence. I believe with Kiama that most of us can do it, but our culture's bred it out of us.
For some reason known only to The Spirit some people get such large doses of it, that their socialization can't destroy it. Just as in music. There are those of us who excel at picking out a favorite tune on the piano, then there's George Gershwin or Paderewski (I have no idea how to spell the man's name.)
I resist giving people advice, but from everything I've read, those who use their gift selfishly lose it, or at least the edges are blunted. If I had such a gift I'm not sure what I would do with it.
I can see that if word of a person's skill got around, one would be inundated with desperate people seeking health. I suspect that a person would lose their own private life.
According to books I have read, those who suddenly discover the gift have gone through a severe trauma of some kind.
Goddess Bless you and help you understand how best to use your new skill.

notion that the ground doens't feel it.
not in the notion it actuallys feels.
but in my native tradition we speak of bad places where we go and feel bad feelings. this usally has soemthign to do with spirits, or murders that happend there.
the power spots of the world are usally postive , yet there are a bad power spots where negatively of a surounding area have combined to create a bad place.
of course this could be mythological.
with all the times we have walked the earth since the dawn of man is it possible there is a death that happend in every area. why then is there bad areas for a person who is psychialy attuned .
i think it is not only the place it self but also the earth spirits who surround the area , were affected by the negative event and corresponding energy that occured with it.
this is seens like dark water nymphs when there is pollution in the water. angrey little people for where the earth was mined.
i personally take any negative energy and offer it to the light for the light to disolve.
