Here is a link to Llewellyn's free spell-a-day page This World Peace Spell is from 2002, and the planets are no longer in the places for it, but I suppose one could do it anyway. http://www.llewellyn.com/free/spell.php?spellid=864 I have had trouble with spells in the past and am not currently using spells. I am curious as to whether the community here feels this would be the kind of spell worthy of a true magician/witch/whatever. p.s.- I voted for meditation

I dont want war..I understand why there is a war..Yes i have family memebers going to...I have already been sending out reiki to the situation..For the best decision to be made. Not specific..because..just what if...not having the war...was not the best decision...Gotta think about that.

I have a world peace spell in my spell book that I bought! It's not a Gypsy spell! (i wish) but it's fairly simple I think I will have to do it as soon as I can! I am posting this to encourage evryone to try whatever tey can for world peace and to stop this war!! Love you all and 4ever!!! Esmeralda

I feel that I can only send out positive energy, for the good of all. I do not know what the Divine Plan is (but I'm prepared to trust it), I do not know the consequences of maintaining peace at all costs, or of taking military action. I do not like war, I want peace, but I am only human, I do not know the best way to achieve it. So, I'm hoping and praying that the outcome is for the good of all, no more no less.

I'm a witch, a Wiccan, and a person who is comfotable working magick, and casting spells. I voted for positive vibes and Reiki. Why? Magick takes the path of least resistance. If the easiest and fastest way to world peace was throught the absolute destruction of a majority of the population, bumping humanity into some weird dark age doomsday future on a semi ruined planet, I wouldn't want it. Would you? I think perhaps not. Yes, I know, it's all in the wording and the intent of the spell. But with the weird and wonky energy patterns out there these days, anything can happen. Everything is amped, you know? Everything. I don't want war, but it now looks like we're going to get one. I was hoping for sanity on the part of certain world leaders, but I would have a better chance of growing gills overnight so I could go live in the ocean with the whales. Anyway, Positive vibes can only help, because they influence situations in small but important ways. A bomb is dropped on a family home. They are still inside. Everyone runs out, and makes it, because for some reason, the bomb's detonation is delayed, and the people don't all die. Positive vibes. Reiki is Universal life force healing energy. This is a situation which needs healing. Spellwork is great, don't get me wrong, it works for me. And because it DOES work for me, I'd rather send positive vibes and Reiki.

I tend to agree with DarkElectric. Spellwork is similar to prayerwork. What matters be intent, also what one wouldst ask. Directing healing energy for the greater good rather than bending forces or imposing the will. By the small acts of "contrition", mayst be disseminated the charity & the compassion, creating a ripple effect within each individual sphere of influence. Charity beginneth in the home; from where one stands. Peace needeth the consensus of all. If all were so moved, Peace wouldst reign unquestionably. Other agendas impede the apparent goal as they divert & divide the collective energies & thus, splinter what wouldst be achieved. Herein be why the concerted group effort in the meditation, the prayer hath the greater power. This be a time of great change on all levels of the human existance. Of an evolutionary magnitude on a spiritual level; on a heart level. Accompanied by the heightened planetary vibrations & the heightened individual vibrations also, *regardless* of the personal alignment or associations. Thus from wherever or whatever one wouldst associate with, therein be the consciousness magnified in the life. There be also a planetary consciousness that seeketh to attune itself; to mitigate the iniquities experienced. Its purpose to serve as a vehicle for the human advancement, the earth tires & cries out to cleanse itself. It, too, seeketh to meet attunement for it also be borne of the One Source. Accordingly, the similar effects in each person's life of the forces of cleansing & ultimately, renewal. Some of ye wouldst call it judgement, but this be more of adjustment; an exercise in attunement.

War if part of life. War is started by human beings coz of greediness and selfishness. War can be prevent but not always. Though War happens once a long time. But is something good that War begins. It teachs the world a lesson. This is my view of point. But however, i will use spells,reiki or whatever ways to stop a war..

I've sent out reiki, not towards some specific goal, but towards the best solution in this situation that will harm the least people. I can't decide what that solution is, because I can't oversee the whole situation and what consequences any solution may have. So I leave it to the universe to determine that and I hope this whole situation will be over soon and we can all work towards peace again...

For me, a spell is the same as the positive vibes thing, because I would perform a spell which would simply send out my love and positive energy to the world, encouraging the best course of action. Right now, all I know is that we haven't been told enough about the possible consequences of this war, and I for one don't wanna live through what my Grandmother did in the second world war. Maybe I'm over-reacting, but I'm sure you can see the point. Kiama

I voted for sending out peaces vibes. I don't know anything about spells. I am also sending out plea of sanity for world leaders. I am an Australian - we have never participated in the instigation of a war in such a way - it makes me very sad for Australia. Personally I think our Prime Minister is too proud to listen to his people and admit we are making a mistake. Don't know how they sleep at night. Guess its easy for me to say - I'm not a world leader.
