A couple of nights ago I was meditating /scrying with my rainbow obsidian sphere - nothing came through except an overwhelming feeling that I was going to faint.
I`ve never had this happen before. I grounded and centred myself before I started as I usually do but started to feel very wierd after about ten minutes, when I became dizzy, nauseous and generally felt awful. I had to stop. Any ideas on what could have been happening, I felt fine again as soon as I`d put down the obsidian and grounded myself again.
Love and light

I may be wrong, but I think that although you were probably well grounded and centered, you were not shielded.
I remember Holmes talking once about protecting oneself in a kind of a "net". Because if you shield yourself with something impermeable, not only does the negative stuff bounce off, but also some of the positive stuff. A net of finely woven light is what I have used since I read his post and it works beautifully. Although some days I "forget" to shield myself and I can regret it for days afterwards.

everything Diana said with one addition...Coffee, Tea, soda, alcoholic beverages…all sap your system of water…
What you experienced was your body telling you to ‘get real’. Water my dear…and get grounded…don’t ground from the spine, ground from the feet…

UMBRAE...
Curious as to why you say to ground from the feet and not the spine...I have experience with both and usually use the feet but have used the spine as well...it is diffferent ...and would appreciate anything you have to share on this subject...thanks...
