about closing threads in spirituality

our spiritual beliefs are very personal and close to us. because of this, it sometimes becomes easy to feel defensive, to feel personally attacted. if you see something posted that offends or goes against the posting guidelines, please click where it says 'report this post to the moderator'. kiama and i can than handle it as quickly as possible. please be patient with us. sometimes handling it means asking the poster to 'fix' the problem, which may take awhile as they may not be on-line at that time. please do not try to deal with the problem yourself, by 'getting back' at the original poster. when this happens there can end up being too many angry and negative posts to easily fix. this is when i have to just close or delete a thread. this does a real disservice to those many members who are discussing the issue in a polite and respectful manner. thank you and bright blessings, zorya co-moderator, spirituality
