Higher self wisdom and spirit guides

I know, me again with a silly question, but anyway... LOL I've been thinking about spirit guides a lot lately. I'm still not exactly sure of the functional difference between them and angels, but I'm also thinking now about the difference between spirit guides and our higher self. By higher self I'm refering the that divine part, your soul, your true self, your higher self call it what you're comfortable with. Where does this part of you fit into the scheme? Where does intuition come from? Is it all three? Does listening to your guide mean that you are giving up responsibilty? Do I think too much? LOL Love to know your thoughts!

LOL Love to know your thoughts! here is the defination between the soul and the higherself that is used by orin and daben the soul is our true essence self, the higher self is the aspects of our true self we can see or understand at this time. the differnce between our higher self and spirit guides is a few. what spirit guides do you work with is the big difference. earth devas are all spirits of earth suchs as mermaids, faeries, little people, animals, and grandfather rock. the high level spirit guide of light are those who have achieved a high level of light and love through evolution in the universe, some have never incarnated upon the earth, but their universal wisdom they have shared is touching for some. the ascended masters, are souls who have evolved and reach mastership upon the earth (it is said on a website that they have balanced out their karma past 51 percent, ) example would be the christ individual who is known as sanada. buddha, and other masters (you can find information about them in books, websites if you so inclined to know further ) and the spirits who work through a medium are the recently departed, it is a differnt purpose when you work with these. you not focused on getting teachings and wisdom. but 1.to help them pass over if they are stuck ( soul rescue as it is called ) 2.to help tie up loose ends. 3.and some just hang around for fun, watching others before moving on, (these ones are mostly lower level entities who have darker purposes and are lost in their dark feeling and such,, ) 4. the above mentioned are the ones the soul rescue team really have to focus on to get them to open to the light . for those of you who work with ascended master and high level spirit guides of light, it is in conjunction with your soul and higherself as you percieve it. they work together. inuition is almost a whole higher subject but in the context you working with . it comes from our psychic ability, our soul, and our guides working in conjunciton with our soul. now for the most important part. listening to your guides is a choice,, and we all know in our hearts if what we are told is wrong, or told to do is wrong. let me get my book which is sitll sitting besides me, channelling how to reach out to your spirit guides. high guides respect your integity and facilate your own decision making acknolwedge a force greater then them leave you feeling inspired and loved say that many paths lead to truth and expanded conscioussness provide conscisley inforamtion specific to your situation offersyou counsel that challenges and causes you to overcome personal limitaitons. serve those they can in a humble way have good manners treat you repsecifully and contact you when you are confortable. they rarely predict the future will only show you ,tell you what you ask them, what you are ready for, and what you can handle. they don't (if they do it can be a low level guide ) they dont' claim to know what is best. arrogantly claim they are ultimate source of wisdom leave you feeling dependant say there is only one path and their path is the only one speach in vauge spiritual cliches that little specific content flatter you and support you negative emtional , mental patterns try to create the sect of bobo or rather create a sect for themselves had bad manners or abuse your body in any way .

This is going to sound really weird, but if anybody has any commentary to offer, I'd appreciate it. My maternal grandmother died when I was 6. I felt her presence "over my shoulder" for a long time throughout childhood. I had glimpses of her arm waving to me from around my bedroom door, but I psychically communicated to her that I was too afraid to see her and the waving arm retreated. On my 16th birthday, (11 years ago) I was walking home late at night when I stopped to look up at the night sky. I felt rather than heard instructions to do this. For about 2 or 3 seconds I saw an intricate net or web of rainbows covering the entire sky. I knew that this glimpse was meant as a birthday present from my grandmother. Lately, I took to thinking about my grandmother and the way I used to feel her presence and thought she must have deserted me, or finally passed over to the other side. It occured to me that maybe she was needed more by my mother right now as she is going through a very difficult time. I felt a little sad. I could have really used the support, too. This is the weird part. I live in the sticks, now, with my husband and son, thousands of miles from where I grew up. My brother came to visit recently and accompanied me and my son to the local hospital when I developped an ear ache. He brought my son into the little gift shop while I waited for the doctor to see me. When I was done, my brother showed me a piggybank he'd bought for my son from the gift shop. It was second hand and hand made. I've only ever seen one other like it. In the very first baby picture ever taken of me that piggybank is in the background sitting on a chest of drawers. I later asked my mother where I'd gotten it and she told me it had been a baby gift from my grandmother. Conformation that she is indeed still "with" me? Is this possible? Is it a good thing? Does anyone have any similar stories, or alternative suggestions? I value your opinions. Thank you, Love and light, Belladonna

Oh, i love stuff like this! synchronisity. Your Grandmother has been with you the whole time! she honored your request to not be seen. Now she is answering your desire to have contact with you again!!! and she has a great sense of humor!!! How delightful that she speaks with a piigy bank for her grandson! she's probably been looking for a way to give him the same gift she gave you. She is precious!! I too have a beloved Grandmother. she and my mother are now both Spirit guides. and they 'speak' to me like your Grandmother speaks to you. When you are feeling safe, ask for more indicators. she truly honors you, so it will 'make sense' when she speaks. she will do it in a gentle and probably humorous way! the rainbow grid was fabulous. Expect more delightful 'messages'. she is thrilled that you want to speak with her. Enjoy!

the world is full of coincidences, or maybe not... just like Belladona and Skytwig I have a very special relationship with my grandmother that passed away 10 years ago I wouldn't call her a guide because I know she never really believed in those things, so I would feel like imposing something on her ... more like a caretaker And those experiences you two speak about are very familiar to me Last week I felt her presence really strongly, not only her spiritual presence but her physical presence as well, for the first time in a while. So for the last couple of days I've been going over and over the situation in my head trying to figure out why, since this usually precedes something. Overall it was a really nice and uplifting experience, but as I said I've been trying to make a meaning out of it all. So reading your postings today was somewhat bizarre for me. And at the same time made me feel that I'm not alone in this ;)

My grandmother is constantly around me too. I don't consider her as one of my spirit guides though, but she's definitely part of my support team. I believe that deceased loved ones, play a different role than spirit guides. I believe they continue the role that they played before they departed- loving, comforting. Spirit guides to me are highly evolved beings, who are with you from birth, guiding and teaching, usually without you knowing, but much deeper and conciously once you are aware. For instance, through meditation I have communicated with my two main guides- one a Druid priest, the other a nature spirt- well- fairy. They give me advice, and have protected me when needed. The most exciting time was when they gave me my spiritual name, and also gave me real life evidence when I asked for it.
