Chakra test (not mine!!) that's rather accurate!

hi all! on another forum i frequent someone posted a link to a chakra test that i found to be rather accurate...thought i might share the link w/everyone and see what you think... http://www.eclecticenergies.com/chakras/chakratest.php here are my results: Root: under-active (-13%) Sacral: open (69%) Navel: open (13%) Heart: open (50%) Throat: over-active (81%) Third Eye: open (63%) Crown: open (50%) not surprising my throat is over-active...you usually can't shut me up or get me to stop writing...hehe...and not surprising about the root either...it's always been my "weakest" link ;) if you try it, post back and let us know what you thought!! :D i really liked it! many blessings, ~azure

...always hesitant with these things, but here goes: Root: open (50%) Sacral: open (44%) Navel: open (63%) Heart: open (38%) Throat: open (63%) Third Eye: open (38%) Crown: open (69%) For what it's worth, I do not think the test can give a good report on the open-ness or otherwise of the actual Chakras - though it may report accurately on one's general psychological makeup and preferences along the lines indicated...

Root: under-active (-50%) Sacral: open (25%) Navel: under-active (-19%) Heart: open (38%) Throat: open (25%) Third Eye: over-active (88%) Crown: open (63%) i've also been told that i'm open from the heart up, so this sounds about right. i am a bit surprised that my throat chakra is that open though. anyone notice that all of us, with the exception of jmd, have underactive root chakras. hey jmd, what's your secret ;) ... and we all have active or over-active third eye and crown chakras. i guess the 6th and 7th being open is to be expected with aeclecticians :D

i thought my answers were a tad wacky. i'm pretty introverted and i viewed the questions as looking at my outward expression of energy. i'm usually reserved unless i come to know someone well. root underactive -81% sacral under-25% naval-under 56% heart under 13% throat open 19% 3rd eye open 63% crown over 75% this feels accurate as i have always been more aware of my body from the neck up.

But giving too negative answers, surely, that must be a sign of something or other being blocked, too, right?

A few questions were worded rather interestingly, I thought. I got the "You've answered too much in the afirmative" as well. But they asked for honesty, and that's how I answered. I think being a tarot reader and Reiki practitioner has a lot to do with it. And I know that if I had a BF right now, that root chakra would be really over active! Root~ Under active 13% Sacral~ Open- 56% Navel~ Open-56% Heart~Open-19% Throat~Over active-88% (but communication is my JOB...) Third Eye~ Over active 75% Crown~ Over active- 75% Wouldn't it help to have an overactive third eye and crown chakra a bit on the overactive side for a person who lives by incorporating their psychic abilities into their daily survival routine?

It seems to me that almost everyone here gets the "Overall, your scores are quite high. This might indicate that most of of your chakras are open. However, it might actually indicate that you were answering the questions too affirmatively." infamous line... just kidding... ;) anyways, these were my scores Root - under active (-50%) Sacral - open (13%) Navel - open (50%) Heart - open (13%) Throat - open (56%) Third eye - over active (75%) Crown - over active (88%) Well... I would like to know the ranges for the whole under-open and over things ... (that doesn't sound that nice said out loud... :-p ) Since we all seem to belong to a fairly homogeneous group (interest, perspecive on life, beliefs, spirituality, etc... call it what u may), it would be interesting to see how people with a different perspective on life do on this... In any case, how "open" (if there is such a thing) should are chakras be??? (since *over active* kinda' carries a negative connotation to it..) Likewise, is there an ideal balance between the 7 chakraS???

this test was good for 'a bit of fun'. heres mine Root: open (19%) Sacral: open (69%) Navel: over-active (88%) Heart: open (38%) Throat: over-active (81%) Third Eye: over-active (75%) Crown: over-active (100%) i know alot about chakras - and, well i would say that my root is my weakest (i suffer from fatigue) i would say that all are OPEN Over active would imply - NAVEL = big headed, arrogant THROAT = talks too much and a tendancy to sore throats 3rd EYE = uses alot of mental energy, thinks with the head CROWN = not living in reality i do not agree with this (but i suppose others might!!!!!!!!)

Likewise, is there an ideal balance between the 7 chakraS??? well, i don't feel it's terrible to have "overactive" chakras, it can pose problems for some...to get an idea, think of your chakras this way: chakras are energy, right? ok, so think of them like an electrical socket... an electrical socket has the potential to provide you all the energy you need... but if you only stick the plug in halfway, or if something gets in the way of the plug, the energy will be weak, or blocked... if you put in too many plugs (w/an adapter...or "gifts" ;)) it's possible it could become overloaded and burn out or blow a fuse... but you can also booster that socket w/a surge protector (ground yourself to the energy of the Earth) and plug many things in at once w/o worry... so, you must look for the balance (and a surge protector would be nice as well ;)) in all things... as an example, my root is underactive yet the rest of me is open or over-active (accurate on the test as well as IRL)...i've always had issues w/grounding myself (and have been known to be referred to as an "airhead" a few times, though usually by myself! lol) and it's something that i work on w/chakra exercises (more specifically kundalini)... did that answer your question(s)? :D some of you may not wish to think of it as a socket...perhaps a battery?? or maybe a lightbulb? works the same...i think...:) many blessings... ~azure

azuremariposa, maybe the grounding issues have something to do w/your low earth/water in your natal chart? Like you, I'm pretty high in fire/air and the chakras reflect that perhaps: Root: under-active (6%) Sacral: open (56%) Navel: open (44%) Heart: open (13%) Throat: open (63%) Third Eye: over-active (81%) Crown: over-active (100%) Um, I think my throat chakra should be overactive too! Root is weakest, I never exercise lol.

I don't know what any of this means, but it seems that I have a LOT to improve upon, being "underactive" in most chakras. Ruby7 Ruby7, my recommendation, since you have active crown & third eye chakras, is to work on pulling energy DOWN into the other chakras from above... just b/c you are in this state now, does not mean you must or will be like this forever, you can fix it, change it, do what you will... chakras can be activated, energized, etc....it takes a little work, but it's not difficult... my suggestion would be to meditate on bringing that upper energy DOWN...:D visualize it happening, and slowly but surely, it will manifest... many blessings, ~azure (p.s. you can do activations w/crystals, colours, & music as well...)

Well, quite fun. My root and third eye are underactive. I'm a little sleepy from a weekend class and know this is a bit of a demanding time of the month work/physical wise as we close the month. So this little test is a nice reminder where to soothe myself... Thanks for the link. Mari H.
