Chiang spoke slowly and watched the younger gull ever so carefully. "To fly as fast as thought, to anywhere that is," he said, "you must begin by knowing that you have already arrived..."
The trick, according to Chiang, was for Jonathan to stop seeing himself as trapped inside a limited body that had a forty-two-inch wingspan and performance that could be plotted on a chart. The trick was to know that his true nature lived, as perfect as an unwritten number, everywhere at once across space and time.

First time I join in any of these threads. Because Jonathan and Chiang are my best friends.

No, think of it this way:
Here's this little seagull, trapped in a little seagull's body, but coming to understand that his limitations do not represent the limitations of his spirit, he is learning how to truly fly despite the limitations of his body, in fact, he already knows how.

O.K. For the second time in three days, I chose to depict a card that has already been done. I understand there is a no-flaming-policy here, but I realize I highly deserve it. (ducks head to avoid over ripe tomatoes and old boots)
However, that said, it should be easy now.

No takers? Well I was thinking the World. Expression of freedom and individuality despite and beyond apparent limitations.
"You must beging by knowing you have already arrived..." This illustrates the cyclical nature of the world card, an ending that is really a beginning.
Khatruman, why don't you go next, since you were the last guesser, and I'm real partial to the Green Man.
Sorry everybody!

There's nothing to be sorry about! You gave us possible view of the World card, none of us guessed; but you explained your choice and how it works - and we have received an enlightening perspective. You win!
Best wishes! :)

*Lol* I thought of putting the World down, too late!
I'll look for a nice bit of literature and put my card riddle up later tonight!
