at the moment the frisian horse centre is facing bankrupcy(sp). members of the frisian horse pedigree kicked the board out because of bad (financial) management, now there is an interim board that has to rescue this situation.
i asked the cards about this situation in general.

cards drawn: knight/prince coins - knight/prince swords -

what we have got here is an interim board that has to come up with some new and creative ideas to get the 1.2 million euro's together that is in debit. this board is ready to do exactly that what is needed to rescue the fhc, and it will push every limit to get it. (prince/knight sword)
this board also shows the greatest determinationto keep doing what needs to be done, acting upon the thinking and seeing this giving the desired result of getting the needed money, hopefully. (prince/knight coins)
the quality of this interim board to rescue the fhc is it contains people that are great bussinessanalysts with a good sense of realityand some skilled marketing/selling people that can communicate the new ideas to the right persons in the right spot to muster the money and secure the future of the frisian horse breeding. (your guess, what card am i?)

Hi there Kaz,
I wonder, could it possibly be the magician, with his skills and his ability to link communications from all spheres ? I think he could muster up many skilled people and money making ideas with his clever (possibly manipulative) personality, in a positive way ??
Good one Kaz !

bec  29 Apr 2003
magician was my first choice too - so I will think of another one - hmmmmm skills for talking and selling ........

I would have to take his partner then

High Priestess

Khatruman  29 Apr 2003
How about the Queen of Coins?

RedWood  29 Apr 2003
King of Swords?

Belladonna  29 Apr 2003
I would have said King of Swords too, but I'll go for King of Wands.

Kaz  29 Apr 2003
no magician, no kingswords, no kingwands.
its a minor, ill give that away........
i used thoth.

RedWood  29 Apr 2003
My immediate thought was 8 of pentacles..but that is almost to much in the way of money..i am thinking a sword..but which one.

Belladonna  29 Apr 2003
9 of wands?

Kaz  29 Apr 2003
no 9wands

bec  30 Apr 2003
a minor from thoth that would fit a magician - and you call that a give away ?? LOL

*bec is tapping her forehead THINK THINK THINK*

3 coins/pents ??

that card is both skilled, communicating and could (RW) sell the chathedral any day :P

Dark Eyes  30 Apr 2003
Possibly the night of swords? Movement, quick thinking, influential ?

bec  30 Apr 2003
night of swords is hardly a minor dark eyes :P

gloria  30 Apr 2003
Could it be six of discs?

Dark Eyes  30 Apr 2003
Oh pooh, I got carried away and forgot your last clue, have been thinking about the who am I game too. It can get confusing sometimes ! O.K. Now I got it, how about the 6 of pentacles??

Dark Eyes  30 Apr 2003
darn it Gloria, you beat me to it !

Kaz  30 Apr 2003
no 6 coins.

new hint: swords

Dark Eyes  30 Apr 2003
Hey Kaz,
Maybe it could be the six of swords?? this card signifys a move away from difficult times, moving to more settled waters...., resolving complications around a subject ? An agreeable solution to a problem? 6 being the number of harmony and balance !

Ace Swords?

New beginnings, cut to the quick, magicians sometimes use swords????? ...To cut women in half I think....ugh...

Kaz  30 Apr 2003
its 6 swords yes. why was it so hard to guess? i didnt think i gave a weird interpret of the card. at least not for this deck......

your go now darkeyes :-)

Dark Eyes  30 Apr 2003
yes Kaz,
Now that I know the answer, it seems so obvious. Your interpretation was excellent, there are just so many cards with similar meanings with only very subtle differences, that is what makes these games so interesting and mind stirring.
Thankyou Kaz, i will have to give some thought to another reading. I may take some time, I would like to bring back an old reading I did for a friend, but it may take some time to remember it all. Bear with me, could be several hours. I will give everyone a break from thinking, and use overnight to gather my thoughts. I hope you can wait. It is quite late here. If you get tired of waiting, someone else may have my turn.
To be continued
Dark Eyes.
