Hi all, couldn't sleep, my mind was going ten to the dozen to try and remember the reading that I did for a lady about a year ago. I just posted most of this reading once already, then the bloomin' internet cut out on me, so I lost the lot!! Don't you just hate that !
So now, I am tireder than ever, and I have to remember it all again. But, i cannot go to bed and leave you all without a puzzle to solve. So here it is once again...
the reading was for a lady, she became very emotional at the mention of the first cars, and half a box of tissues later she finally stopped at the end of the reading.
The lady wanted just a general reading, this is how it went.....
In your past, there was a very emotional period of time surrounding a female. Very deep feelings of emotion and of profound and paramount importance to you. I get from the card, that this female was a Scorpio ( lady began to cry). There was something very special about this person. (queen of cups)
I also have very strong indication that there was some sort of illness or health danger regarding this person and either this female or yourself (querent) has undergone and is still undergoing a period of recuperation or recovery. This is strongly symbolised in the next card which heralds a time of rest and relaxation. You have needed this time at present to rest and recharge mentally, physically and emotionally, to store up energy for any further challenges. Being a number four, this card symbolises stability.... stability after some sort of setback, as it is in the suit of swords.(4 of swords)
At this point, the lady told me her story, so the card that came up next was no surprise to me at all, In fact I was almost in tears myself. (Silly really, but these things have a way of getting to you).
The next card represented a sense of security and contentment, one which the lady welcomed sincerely. Her future looked so very bright, after such a time of anxiety and despair. With the future card.... (the one you have to guess) the potential fulfilled, there was the hope and light of domestic stability, a great satisfaction would be gained from bringing something wonderful to fruition.
Although the third card was a good one for the future, we placed another card on it just for interest sake. The next card was the card of patience and maturity. The Hermit. No matter how bleak life may get, spiritual illumination will keep you on the right path, keep your thoughts and hopes positive and guide you through those darker times that may present themselves. It reminds one to take time out now and then for oneself, and not to lose the appreciation of life and how precious it is.That life doesn't remain the same forever, and that we should embrace it whilst we can.
The ladies story was.... Her and her husband had been trying to have a baby for 9 years, after several miscarriages, she fell pregnant and was overjoyed. When her little girl was born (she was a scorpio), she was born with a disease and was very ill. They nearly lost her several times. It was a very painful time, very scarry and touch and go. Many long days and nights spent at the side of her cot (crib), hoping and praying that she would make it. Thanks to God, she did survive. She is a very precious little girl. This being only a couple of years ago now, still very fresh to the lady. Her and her husband are going through a time of recovery, along with their precious daughter. It will take some years, and a lot of time out, for each of them to come to terms with what they underwent. The hermit reminds her to hold on to the fleeting nature of life and it's treasures, to appreciate every day and also the importance of her own mortality, and spirituality. There is always a light, just don't let go of it.
Well that's it, i guess it is a bit too long, huh.
The first card was Queen of cups
The second card was 4 of swords
The third card..... ?
The fourth (extra card) was Hermit.
It's over to you guys !!!
I may go to bed now. Goodnight Dark Eyes.

Sorry, but no .bec.
The card is very in tune with the reading and the querents circumstances. I didn't want to give it away too quickly, but maybe there weren't enough clues. Obviously the reading had a lot more in it at the time, but it would take forever to write and post the full kit and kaboodle.
Another clue would be this.... The relief for the querent came with the missing card, her hopes and dreams of a future and the probable continuation of her place in the universe, her position in life, and her personal achievement were to be realised. The continuation of her desperately realised dream.
I will give more clues later.
Hope this helps. Dark Eyes

Not the star Gloria, but a similar such caring hopeful and productive type card. A positive and warm card to be sure.
I am sure that soon enough, Moongold will drop in and take this baby from you Gloria, so you must plant the next seed and fertilise the thought , and bring it forth to the forum before she does !!!! hehehehehe I hope that helps too.
Good luck all
D.E.
p.s. I hope I didn't upset you Moongold, It was also meant as a compliment to you.
Warm wishes Dark Eyes.

This is quite difficult Dark Eyes. I would also have said Star initially because of the Shining Tribe Star where Persephone comes up from the underground after being captured and confined there. Her mother Demeter searched the Earth for Persephone after she was captured but to no avail. Finally Zeus had compassion and caused Persephone to be released. There is a whole lot more to this story but it is a wonderful account of a Mother's love.
If it is not Star, then perhaps I could say Moon but only because of the link from Moon to Mother and the importance of that for women. The hint you gave about spirituality applies here perhaps as well. This is more an astrological association however. The relationship of a mother to her child and vice versa is represented by Moon.
In a Tarot sense, one could also say Empress because of the embodiment of all the attributes of femininity and nurturing. And if one was thinking of a bright future and bringing something to fruition one could also say Sun.
So we are overwhelmed with choice. :)

The Sun would have been my second choice, another warm and positive card, but then you mention seeds and fertilisation I too would go for The Empress.

I'd definitely say Empress, though based more on:
I am sure that soon enough, Moongold will drop in and take this baby from you Gloria, so you must plant the next seed and fertilise the thought , and bring it forth to the forum before she does !!!! hehehehehe I hope that helps too.

the above passage was part of the clue as well.
Moongold, your powers of observation and your clever skill of elimination are very very good. You are very very close, it is one of the cards you considered.
Let me try this.....
walk with me in the fertile field of love,
see me in the universe of stars above.
I am the acorn and the tree,
I am the smallest animal in the sea.
I will turn sunshine into a storm,
when I am angry or forlorn.
I will house the seed of love
until a child of the universe it becomes.
My beauty in old age never dies,
Through my reign it only thrives.

The Empress was correct. I think Gloria got it first, but Moongold mentioned it first. I also think Kiama got it at about the same time.
Help, I don't know who to give it to. I guess Moongold was the first to pick it up, so I guess it's over to Moongold. Well Done all of you, I will be glad to be a guesser again.
Best wishes Dark Eyes

Gloria,
I would like you to take the turn. I am quite weary this evening and have had quite a few turns. I think you were actually more explicit than I was, anyway. I'm sure you don't mind, Dark Eyes and Kiama.
Gloria seems to be a name fitting for the Empress as well. It is such an elegant name but the people I have known to carry it have all been impish in some way.
I remember some years ago at my niece's special Christmas Mass the priest told a story about the Angel called Gloria in Excelsius Deo. I got the giggles in the Mass and remember wondering why such stories had not been told when I was a Catholic kid.
A reminiscence. Over to you... It is a beautiful name, and I presume it is your real one.

Hi Moongold,
Thankyou for your kind words concerning my name, but honestly if you could see me still sitting here in my pyjamas at 1pm, I can assure you, I am not living up to the "elegant" title.
Thanks for asking me to go next, but I have to tear myself away and get some work done. Oh, and get dressed first of course.
Plus I don't want to hold the game up.
Bye now.
