here goes....
I am the snake who has shed his skin,
the darkness before the new day does begin.
Although the worst I must face has come,
in the harsh reality of daylight I succumb,
To a new life hereafter it's all stations go,
Never to return to the old pain and woe.
Guess who I am as I repair and renew,
and the new riddle master will be you !!

Sorry two of wands but no, I'm afraid it is not death. There can't be too many that fit the description though. keep trying. I have bed on my agenda for now, but I will check in again in a few hours.

YeeeeHaaaaa !..................... Riversea, you are the new riddlemaster.
I have always seen the ten of swords as the snake shedding his skin. Leaving behind the inevitable, that which he had no control over. It may indicate that the person has gone through a certain death, indeed this could be emotional or even the physical death of another depending on the other surrounding cards of course. Anyway, he must leave behind the pain and sadness as he no longer needs to deal with it.
There is a glimmer of hope in this card as we see a hint of daylight, a new day beginning, the end of the darkness. The old skin gone, a fresh one ready to go.
This is always a heavy card to me, but to be able to give the client hope is a wonderful feeling. and so, ...not such a bad card after all.
Thanks all you other folk for trying, but it's now over to Riversea. Well Done!!

Thankyou so much two of wands,
i really appreciate your saying that. It is fabulous to get the feedback, also to hear other interpretations. We can get set in a mould sometimes with our own interpretations, but it is great to widen our approach by hearing others opinions.
I am finding this game fascinating, I am trying to think up another type of game. Will keep you all informed, one is coming soon. i hope you will all like.
Thanks again two of wands,
Regards Dark Eyes
