I have your picture sitting on my mantle still...in hopes we can rekindle...so hard to let you go...perhaps you will return...until then here I'll sit staring into your eyes...for who could ever compare to you...

Okay guys uh...new to this so bare with me

5 or 6 of Cups?

Oh no Moongold, I didn't mean you! I didn't even get a good look at the last few rounds :)

XLCR  18 Apr 2003
hmmmm....but could be I suppose

XLCR  18 Apr 2003
forgot to mentioning the cobwebs forming on that there picture...

Silverlotus  18 Apr 2003
This one is hard. Ummm... 5 of Pentacles?

Ruby7  18 Apr 2003
4 of cups?

XLCR  18 Apr 2003
it's the six of cups (reversed)-
In my book The Sacred Circle Tarot the six of cups is described as
"absolute refusal to let go of the past, memory of past preventing movement and fear that the future will not measuring up to past achievements

Well....I tried

XCLR. that was a hard one! Nothing wrong with that but it's really difficult for people using different decks.

We started off with an implicit agreement that we would be using RWS or clones so that visual references would be consistent.

Is it worht sticking to this? I searched everytwhere in RWS for cobwebs but missed them!

Also, who is following you? The winner normally would but you've announced the answer and taken flight....mama mia.....

So whose turn is it now? XLCR, will you try again?

jmd  18 Apr 2003
Demonesse included the correct card prior to the answer being given... so I presume it is now her turn :)

Whoops... I missed it.

Kiama  19 Apr 2003
Moongold: I don't think that XLCR's view of the 6 of Cups is different at all, and I know of many RWS Thoth clones that have that meaning for that card... Nostalgia, focussing on the past...

Just mentioned cobwebs to represent the passage of time...to diffrentiate from the 5 of cups (regret and all)

Demonesse  19 Apr 2003
Oops, I'll wait until XLCR is done then.

Finally I won ONE round....I'm so touched. *weeps with emotion*

Hehe.

XLCR  19 Apr 2003
Sorry Demonese...you did guess correctly...*brainfart*

Kiama

It is the additional clue that I was referring to , Kiama, not the meaning as such. Looked for them there cobwebs every darn where  Or was it another metaphor that I missed altogether??? Nevermind. It's just a game.

No problem XLCR, I'll take my turn after you've finished this one.
