First you must climb into the battered old saucepan of love where you will marinate in the sauce of sex......
Then you will be covered with the wine of faith, the oil of compassion and the salt of sin and suffering.....
Then you will be tossed in the pan of chaos and seared by the flame of truth.....
You are carved by the knife of compromise and served with the spoon of duty......
Onto the plate of acceptance and garnished with the herbs of humility....
At this point you may as well say GRACE...
Perhaps I need to clarify this. The quotation is meant to encompass a feeling one might have near the end of journey.
So our journeyman has gone through all the above experiences........... and they pretty much represent the gamut of tarot/life experiences.......What card would represent the feelings the journeyman might have now?

I'm officially guessing two of cups in relation to the tarot erotica and the cullinary tarot. Although there are symbols from about five decks and 13 cards ranging from the devil to the ace of swords.
there, thats my two dollars worth (two cents just doesn't cut it anymore you know)

2 Cups is not correct Paradox but I've added a clarification in the original clue.
We are asking for one card that represents the overall fel of the clue. Does that help?

No Major Tom.
What do you think you might feel like when things are near completed? What tarot images are conjured up for you?
Do the word "Grace" and the culinary allusions mean anything?

A Star-lit night, perhaps?
Or has the goose of Leunig unveiled that maiden?
XVII, I surmise, perhaps incorrectly!

Maybe this is too obscure?
Let me tell you what it is and then set another puzzle.
The card in this instance is the 9 of Cups
I guess all the allusions were about life lessons, tasks acomplished, and essentially a job pretty well done.
9s are about completion, bringing to fruition. So we have this character sitting down before 9 Cups looking fairly pleased with his accomplshment and about to celebrate a job well done with the fruit of his labours - GRACE.
I thought the puzzle was reasonable because of the allusions were about things to do with feelings (Cups), There was a sense of a journey being near completion (self-evident) and a kind of celebration (Let's eat the meal - GRACE).
Please PM complaints to me direct :joke:
The next one coming up. Hope it goes before the night is out.
