Inspired by a few threads kicking around teh forum recently, and a game I came across in Joseph Martin's 'Quest Tarot' book, I thought it would be fun and quite interesting to play a game...
One of us posts something about a certain card, in the first person pronoun (Eg- 'I' instead of 'they') and people post what they think the card is. Then, when somebody get's it correct, we go onto another card, this time the person who guessed the last card gets to do the describing... Sound good to you? Then let us begin.
*Kiama stands in front of the Aeclectians, and begins*
Well, I feel damn annoyed! I wanna get out there and do it, not just sit here and plan ahead... If I don't get out there now, I might miss my chance. What's that about thinking things through? I don't need to! I know what I'm doing, and I'm right. It's everybody else who's wrong, and I'll be damned if I'm gonna sit here and do nothing. Once more unto the breach dear friends, is what I say, and I'm gonna do something about this! *Thunders off into distance, not giving a damn that he's actually wrong.*
Okay, What Card Am I?

Melvis got it right first... So now it is Melvis' turn!

PS- I just realised, that our 'I am 'descriptions of the cards will be 'tainted' by our personal understanding of that card, and people's responses will be 'tainted' thus. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing... It'll make it more difficult to guess the card, but it does mean we get to know others' impressions of the cards!
PPS- How's about after somebody has guessed the card right, the person who did the 'I am' desccription explains why they said what they did. I'll example this with mine...
I was constantly referring to 'I know I'm right' and 'I don't care about forward planning', because the Knight of Swords is always rushing into things without properly thinking them through first... And I've always associated him with the fundamentalist who is 'always right' no matter what anybody tells them, and who will base all their actions on this. They are usually unaware of the complexities of the situation or others around them, and so just go rushing in where angels fear to tread, ranting, raving, professing their way to be the only way... So, that's largely what I focussed on.
