Julius Caesar, William Shakespeare, Act II, Scene I.
Portia remonstrates with her husband Brutus:
Y’ have urgently, Brutus,
Stole from my bed; and yesternight at supper
You suddenly arose and walked about,
Musing and sighing, with your arms across;
And when I asked you what the matter was,
You stared upon me with ungentle looks.
I urged you further; then you scratched your head,
And too impatiently stamped with your foot;
Yet I insisted, yet you answered not,
But with an angry wafture of your hand
Gave sign for me to leave you. So I did,
Fearing to strengthen that impatience
Which seemed too much enkindled, and withal
Hoping it was but an effect of humour,
Which sometime hath his hour with every man.
It will not let you eat, nor talk, nor sleep;
And could it also work so much upon your shape,
As it hath much prevailed on your condition,
I should not know you Brutus. Dear my lord,
Make me acquainted with the cause of grief.

Queen of Cups.
I had initially considered 9 of swords, but this is Portia here. Gentle, loving Portia. She's so Queen of cups.

Yep she is very Queen of Cups isn't she...
And Brutus is suffering great doubt, worry and confusion over what he is being enticed into doing - i.e. betray Caesar and literally stab him in the back (very ten of swords!), which is eating away at him and keeping him awake at night... so as you rightly surmised, I had in mind The 9 of Swords!

I'm enjoying this game alot.
It has made me conjure up images that I never would have otherwise.
Make them quotes more obscure.:D

Oh dear.
It appears that I've gotten it both right and wrong, haven't I...So sorry~
So I guess I shall give the next clue.
And oxouroboros, are you certain that you want more obscure clues? })

*allibee whispers ....*
psssst... with more obscure clues, those new to tarot will find it very difficult to participate in this open forum game.
