Right, you have been waiting long enough :)
did a 3 card read for me sister the other day. Her situation is that she has just moved for her self again after a 4 year long relationship. The 4 years have contained a variation of goods and bads and realy bad issues - as I guess all broken relationships are going through.
The read is to give insight in why it is so hard getting past a relation she is truly happy to be rid of.
No position meanings.
Cards 1 and 2 are wands4 and wandsQueen
3rd card are for you to guess:
The nightmares are caused by your own set of codes of ethic. As a woman you are supposed to act and behave in a manner, that will make others think that you are a superwoman.
This was the first relationship ever you have been to, so naturally an ending will hurt no matter how hard and long it has been welcomed.
The relationship did not offer you the celebration of being a superwoman, on the contrary it left you feeling worthless and useless, the queen of her castle were not able to hold on to her dreams and believes in this relation.
Still, nightmares, thoughts and greaf over a lost era in life, a failure to promises of love and friendship, leaves you with the agony of havíng to start over on a sour ending.
The comfort tarot is sharing in the 3rd card, in all closures, another door opens and invite to a new beginning.
What is the 3rd card ?

I was kinda thinking the three of swords...? I always see this card as heartache, but there is always the four of swords coming after, I see it as relief from the pain. So I don't see three of swords as a final bad luck card as such.

You mentioned Nightmares twice, which leads me to the 9 Swords, where the way out is to acknowledge the problem, the difficulties and move on. There is nothing to fear except fear itself.
