Sorry to keep you all waiting, the boys muscled their little old mum off her 'puter. They said it was for homework, but unless their homework was on flash cars and computer games, they've missed their chance for a few hours, hehehe
Ok, the puzzle:
My son Matt has Aspergers Syndrome, an autistic spectrum disorder.
This colours his view of the world and the world’s view of him, but to look at him you wouldn’t notice a difference.
He’s just finishing at his Special Needs High School, taking his exams, but he’s developed an interest in getting a girlfriend lately.
This is good for him, it’s important he tries to make the most of his life and experience all he can, so we thought we would do a small spread on it and see what advice or guidance was coming from the Tarot regarding getting him into the ‘dating game’…
7 Wands, 5 Swords, ??????
Well, the first two cards indicate it’s going to be a bit of a bumpy ride!
The first card tells Matthew he’s able to go after what he wants, in spite of his fears. It’s time for him to go it alone, take his courage in both hands and cross that imaginary boundary.
The 5 Swords reminds Matthew that it won’t all be plain sailing, there will be pain along the way, there will be upsets. There will be people and situations that may try to take advantage of him – my worst fear for him :( - but, having been alerted to this, he must always try to remember that his interests and his feelings are important too, and to make them known.
Both of these cards are of having strong convictions and determination, perhaps in the face of his circumstances.
The last card was a bit of a rose among the thorns though, while still being a little worrying. It offers him the opportunity to take the ball and run with it, but be careful not to trip.
It’s time to get him some new clothes, he needs to look good for those girls :O)

yea life is a risk and you gotta dare take the chance if you ever want to gain anything.
Man!! I know this card, but .......
is it the gypsy card - 9cups ?
*dare to make a wish, but be careful what you wish for, your risk is to get it*

hmm could also be either 7cups or wands - believing in one self and daring to say it out loud.
7 wands state the fact, that it can be a battle stating ones mind and desires, as they might not be shared
last guess - 7wands ?

I have been giggling me head of with the danger of falling of the chair - when both Kaz and Moongold did the same thing, mentioning the card already stated - AND NOW I DID IT MY SELF.... argh :-D
The one laughing last.......... blerf.......... bec think!
I know I am in the right area, I *know* this card, but I will be darned if I can get it out there.
hmmm, but then again it could also be a major, like wheel of fortune - wheels are turning, do the ride but be careful not to fall of.
Allibee you have me running the walls here ;-D and I should be fast asleep already LOL

Hmmm.....have you both gone to bed? I reckon it might be 7 Cups. Matthew has some choices. Some of them could be risky; some of them could be good but it's his choice and he'll learn by making it.

Hi Moongold
bec already guessed the 7 cups, and it was wrong too, hehehe.
Ok, another clue:
The wheels are in motion but let's hope they are not moving too fast, although it's not the Wheel.

Hi guys
Its not a Major jmd, but that was some quick thinking
Not 2 Coins Moongold. Let me take away some of the barriers here. I want you to be very focused, almost as if I've lit a fire under you. I just know you're going to suddenly get this if you think about it hard enough.

I think Bec's got it but I''l say what I nearly said before and that is 6 Wands, where the guy actually wins something from his own efforts!.
Now I'm going off to bed!

You were right Moongold ..... bec does have it, LOL
8 Wands
Take the ball and run with it was indeed about speed, but also about the opportunity to put everything into action .... to run with it. But bearing in mind the 5 Swords, it reminded him, not to go too fast as he may land flat on his face.
*Hands the baton to bec*
