From the old musical: My Fair Lady
I have often walked down this street before;
But the pavement always stayed beneath my feet before.
All at once am I
Several stories high.
Knowing I'm on the street where you live.
Are there lilac trees in the heart of town?
Can you hear a lark in any other part of town?
Does enchantment pour
Out of ev'ry door?
No, it's just on the street where you live!
And oh! The towering feeling
Just to know somehow you are near.
The overpowering feeling
That any second you may suddenly appear!
People stop and stare. They don't bother me.
For there's nowhere else on earth that I would rather be.
Let the time go by, I won't care if I
Can be here on the street where you live.

Nope. Do you think this is a Pentacle kind of song?

The sun?

No, it's not the Sun. The Sun would be too practical for this situation. This guy's kind of nuts...... floating several stories in the air!

It reminds me of these words in the song "close to you".......... "why do birds suddenly appear, every time... you are near"....!
He seems smitten by the person, as you say floating, in a crazed dream... ? Hmmm Will give it a bit more thought...
Dark Eyes :)
Perhaps the fool?

That seems to be a puppy-love, smitten sort of card.

No, not the Two of Cups. But you're getting warm.

6 of Cups?...... Nope. Why would it be the six of Cups?
Gosh, I hope that my Marseilles background is not messing everything up here for you people. Will be interesting to see if the two traditions can meet or not (I mean the RW and the Marseilles.)
allibee: It is better to be all over the place, than nowhere at all. I mean, one can even be several stories high when the pavement doesn't stay under one's feet anymore.

It's ALLIBEE WHO WINS! Ah, love is a many-splendid-thing - even allows us to win games. Try the lottery next time, allibee!
The Ace of Cups upright often refers to Love in its first stages - when there's that passion. When you kind of turn into a piece of jelly just when you think of the person. Joy and bliss. As it's an Ace, it is the start of something.
(Now I have to get over to the Guess the Missing Card thread - I have a thread to start up there and it's not as easy as it sounds!)
