Mum was worried. Her 16 year old Jemima was so happy to go on this date with this guy she had been talking about for weeks on end! As Jemima shouted out an excited "Bye Mum! See you later" and dashed out of the door, Mum sensed that Jemima was going to come home sad. In order to be better prepared to help her daughter if she came home in tears, she decided to do a reading:
Question: What's going on concerning Jemima's date?
1) The guy: The Sun
2) Jemima: ???
3) Outcome: 6 of Swords
Oops, said Mum, swallowing hard. The Sun. Too good to be true, this guy. I think Jemima is being blinded by the light. This guy’s a show-off and a liar. But he’s smart….. he could fool a rooster into crowing in the middle of the night.
Jemima thinks she’s at last found her ideal love. She’s not even thinking clearly anymore – just rushing ahead with her head in the clouds and not even looking where she is putting her feet. When she stumbles and falls, wow, is that going to hurt!! She's no match for this guy... What an illusion..........
The outcome: 6 of Swords. Well, I'm going to have to give Jemima more support with her adolescent thoughts and doubts. She’s needs guidance from someone for her to understand what she really wants in life. She’s feeling pretty insecure and can’t make head or tail of a lot of things that are going on in her life. So as this doesn’t lead to depression, or withdrawal into herself, I think I’m going to encourage her to take up the drama lessons she's often mentioned taking up. That may give her the focus she needs.

So, what is the second card?

8 of Wands reversed??? (or right way up if you're not allowing reversals)

Nope and nope.
I do reversals upright, by the way. (That would make a nice new thread for Major Tom and firemaiden to moderate.........: Who does their reversals upright?)

The description of the card actually matches the Fool, so I suppose she might just be naive!
on the other hand she might well be suffering from an illusion so Seven of Cups then (possibly sideways)
The above response is typical Libra two different things at the same time and probably both wrong LOL

The guy dares to choose two cards in one post. Jeez.....
What to do..... what to do.....
AND THE WINNER IS: MINDERWIZ!!!! The one and only Aeclectic Astrologist Wizard who Minds your business if you want him to!He who can read anything in the stars! (But don't ask him to predict scores for football matches - he's pretty hopeless at that.)
7 of Cups it is. I don't know whether it's a reversed or an upright card - it's just a 7 of Cups.

OMG
Does that mean that I have to have a go at setting the next mystery card (quivers at the knees)????????????????????
What do you mean I am hopeless at predicting football results, I got the score exactly correct, I simply got the teams the wrong way round (as Jack Straw said about the issue of forged dossiers, a completely trivial point LOL)

Oh I see. You do reversals when you do football matches.
Over to you!

I can't understand it, Barthez was playing and he didn't let the ball go between his legs and into the net, perhaps there's hope for United in next season's Champion's League.
OK I guess I'll have to think up a scenario. Now what did I do with Harry Potter's Book of Tarot Puzzles...................
I'll post something tomorrow, probably when I get home from work at lunch time.
BTW I was also wrong on the result of the England/South Africa One Day International. England collapsed alright but too late to lose the match.
