................to start a new game that is quite different?
The idea is to have Tarot Cartoons. That is, we nominate one card, and the competition is to have the funniest, pithiest by-line as though it was for cartoon.
Each competition could run for 24 hours and a decision made then about the winner, For example:
HIGH PRIESTESS
Caption:
1. Queen Elizabeth II looks mysteriously serious after being crowned the new Female Papess of Europe.
2. The album cover for Olivia Newton-John's come back CD for the baby boomers
.................and so on. So what do you think? It could the BIGGEST fizzer but it could be funny too. The idea was borrowed from Nina Lee Braden's Tarot for Self-discovery
So perhaps I can start?
The card I drew, using RWS, is 3 Pentacles. I put this card back in the deck three times and drew it three times :) Make what you will of that, but can you make a CARTOON???
So let's begin? I'll come back in 24 hours to see what has happened.
3 Pentacles :D

You'd have to agree on the deck, too.
For the Swiss 1JJ Death (swinging a scythe) "Hey, watch it with that thing!"

The Laundry ummm... Oh yes go down the hall to the stairs, at the bottom turn left, go out the door on the west end, turn to your left, two blocks south, you will see it... big sign can't miss it.
Can you tell what I'm doing today?

How about:
"It's a bit late NOW to say we don't have planning permission"
or
"Whaddya mean the drawings show a bar and restaurant..."
and finally:
"The trouble with Fred is... 'es to 'asty!" :D

I love the suggestions so far, but I need more than 24 hours! I don't get onto aeclectic every single day!

What am I doing, you ask? Well, I bricked a guy up into this wall a few years ago, and I reconsidered..... :D
You should have asked me about a transept BEFORE I finished the church, you know!
Me? I work for a living. I don't wear stupid polka-dotted blankets and leech off the poor. :TDEV
Tell you what: you pretend you know what you're asking, and I'll pretend I give a rat's ass, Your Grace! })

Great idea, Moongold!
For 3 of Pentacles...
Now what happened to that garish fabric I was going to use for the curtains? Oh. Never mind.

I must acknowledge that Macavity's post made me laugh the loudest, acknowledging the subjectivity of something like this.
"It's a bit late now to say we don't have planning permission"
So Macavity if you'd like to pull another card and start the whole thing going again, that's be great. :D
My understanding is that you might have to start a new thread. Why don't we call the Game TAROT CARTOONS?
Thanks heaps all for participating.

Why, thank you Moongold! :) Another might have been: "Desirable? I'll have you know these have a 150 year waiting list! - First come, First to inherit!" I will think of something a bit later, but it may not make it into your time zone, before bedtime... my thinking cap is on.
I think my "success" might reflect the current UK obsession with all things "property". I'm sure there must be someone else who's had enough of seeing some team of the TV "experts" stick a whole bunch of MDF light into some old garrett for free? And never mine! Ah well.
