It has been a while since there has been a lyric card as well as quite in the game room, well....I love cards, I love games, (= I love card games) & I love music, especially lyrics....I could not wait any longer......
Words by R. Hunter; music by J. Garcia
STANDING ON THE MOON
Standing on the moon
I got no cobweb on my shoe
Standing on the moon
I'm feeling so alone and blue
I see the Gulf of Mexico
As tiny as a tear
The coast of California
Must be somewhere over here - over here
Standing on the moon
I see the battle rage below
Standing on the moon
I see the soldiers come and go
There's a metal flag beside me Someone planted long ago
Old Glory standing stiffly
Crimson, white and indigo - indigo
I see all of Southeast Asia
I can see El Salvador
I hear the cries of children
And the other songs of war
It's like a mighty melody
That rings down from the sky
Standing here upon the moon
I watch it all roll by - all roll by
Standing on the moon
With nothing else to do
A lovely view of heaven
But I'd rather be with you
Standing on the moon
I see a shadow on the sun
Standing on the moon
The stars go fading one by one
I hear a cry of victory
And another of defeat
a scrap of age-old lullaby
Down some forgotten street
Standing on the moon
Where talk is cheap and vision true
Standing on the moon
But I would rather be with you
Somewhere in San Francisco
On a back porch in July
Just looking up to heaven
At this crescent in the sky
Standing on the moon
With nothing left to do
A lovely view of heaven
But I'd rather be with you - be with you
ya' know I just had to throw in the moon, but the
:TMOON is one card you can disregard

8 Cups?
Some sense of sorrow and regret, and the moon is there too.

oh......some good guessing, but not quite the discriptions I'm associating with.
There is a duality of sorts, yet at the same time opposite.....
now isn't that a screwy clue?

YES!!!!
at first I was thinking that it's very sword like, but there was some positive to the lyrics, though not alot, some what nostalgic.
In 78DW she mentions the cups knocked over & the one's that remain up. The dissapointment in what's happening to the world, as well as taking note of the few accoplishments, and the longing, homesickness, and the emotion tie (but I'd rather be with you) there is more than one emotion focused in more than one direction.

Gee thanks Luna, :)
I went to bed after I posted my guess, not thinking it was the one anyway. Wow, I will post one tonight as I am off to work now. Have a great day/night everyone, see you all later.
Dark eyes.
