Hi Y'all,
A while ago some of us discussed the idea of having a game "what card am I ... Reversed". I thought it a great idea, as did some of the other fellow forum members. I have decided to start it off... !!!!!!!!
Here goes.. What card am I reversed....?

Sorry all,
Had some computer problems, couldn't reply sooner.
It is none of the above actually, though they are good guesses. Perhaps it is time for a clue soon.
Keep trying, we all keep trying, even though the person in the riddle doesn't want to try. He feels he can't be bothered because he doesn't think he can do it anyway. He knows he wants to, he knows it is bad for him to keep smoking, but he has no faith in himself to carry it through.
Try again Bec, Rhiannon, Rebelhorse, Sirona and anybody else who cares to have a guess!!
Remember... the card is reversed ! })

lunalafey's "what card?" game gave me some renewed self confidence, so I'm going to try.
The little voice in my head first said "Sun," but I'm going to rashly ignore it this time and go with Chariot, like Rhiannon. That's the one that resonated for me the most, even before I read Rhiannon's post.
So, a second vote for Chariot (but if that's not right, The Sun is my second guess, and I'll be sure to "listen to the voices" next time!).

It is a major, I can tell you that. It is a card , when not reversed that suggests to us to rely on our self to overcome something. When reversed, we are ignoring the truth no matter what it is, because we don't think we can do it.
I think I may give it away if i say any more.

Wow, I really thought someone would have guessed it by now.
It is about.... the not wanting to use our ability to overcome something because perhaps we are stubborn,or we would rather depend on other people to do it for us than use our own inner power.

I chose to describe the negative aspects of the strength card. To me, when the strength card appears in a reading, it is often associated with the querent trying to overcome a bad habbit, or some hangup they have,or just to get out of a difficult situation.
To me, the strength card .. right way up refers to the person drawing on and using their personal strength to achieve a result. Giving it all you've got to pacify the beast, whether the beast comes from within or it may be some negative outside influence that is giving you trouble.
The strenght card reversed indicates that a person is not using and doesn't care to use their personal power and strength. Possibly it indicates a stubbornness.
Anyway, We have a winner. If you found my clues and explanations unclear, please let me know. It is more difficult than I realised to describe poetically or otherwise, the idea of a reversed card, without giving it away.

Thanks! It was the 2nd clue that gave it away, about being in control of yourself or something. Lightbulb went off in my head.
