Just thinking about the poor soul in the 10 of Swords.
Who do you think that it was that stabbed this guy from our lovely set of tarot pals???
Was it one of the lovers? They both say they have an alibi.
Was it the lady in the 9 of Swords? She sure seems to have a lot on her mind?
Was it the two women of the 8 of Swords and the 2 of Swords? Both say they havn't ever 'seen' that guy ... but lets face it, when together, they have the resourses and the murder weapons!
Any ideas? Someone's gotta pay!

Must have been the guy from the seven of swords, the way he's sneaking away... Looks like he could have plunged in a few more swords if he had wanted to, seeing that he has still some left...

No-one stabbed him.
It's just an illusion.
So if it's an illusion, there could be a Magician somewhere around......... (David Copperfield? Or my friend, the Bateleur?)

I don't know who the henchman was - maybe the Knight of Swords? But it was the Emperor ordered it done.

I think it was the 6 of Wands. He looked awfully victorious last time I saw him. And if he's one of the Emperor's men...

Clearly self-inflicted. This guy "bent over backwards" for people and "fell on his sword" over an issue a few too many times...

Could the Hanged Man finally have got over that "self" issue ?

My guess....? The queen of swords !! She was having an affair with the Knight of swords and the ten of swords found out. He threatened to tell the king unless the queen flavoured him with her favours !! Yes... definitely the queen of swords !

Don't you see there're more pressing issues at hand?!?!?! Yeesh, show some sensitivity!!! What about the Dude in the 5 of Cups' alcohol problem? (Why else would he care so much about three fallen glasses.... precious vodka... gone forever... *sniff*) INTERVENTION!!!! Or the guy in the 9 of swords? He must've gotten up too quickly and poked himself in the eye. GET THE MAN A DOCTOR!!!! And all the other probelms... The marijuana garden in the 6 of cups, the gay pride parade in the 10 of cups (SHOW YOUR SUPPORT), or.... I ran out of funny quips... shoot...

It was the 4 of swords that did the deed, he was on a suicide mission, his life was an internal hell & he had nothing to lose. We may never know who hired him.

Well, I don't know who did it, but I know that the weapon (the swords) were taken to the scene of the crime by someone in a boat, so the 6 of swords is a big suspect to me... probably the guy was killed because he found out that somenone was having a forbitten affair... humm....
Poor guy

Keep it up, I really laughed with this thread!

well, you know how they always say watch out for the quiet ones? So call me crazy, but that Star lady sure seems suspicious to me! WHY is she naked? WHAT was she just doing? What was in the cups she is so determinedly pouring out? Is she disposing of evidence? Very suspicious indeed.

I think it was the fool, why else is he dancing at the abyss? He surely thinks "I'm glad, I finally did it!" Motive: 10 of Swords was threatening the fool's poor doggy.

Inspector Hermit will shed some light in this crime... We have many people involved, so first we need to examinate the motive of the murder. We have some possibilites:
6 swords- The victim was involved in life-crime and illegal activities. Lets look the policial archives. He is on weapons traffic. The one in the cloack wanted to be in charge, so he could have used the swords, dropped the corpse in the other shore and sink the boat. No evidences, it was just an accident. You know like mafias are.
5 swords or 5 f wands- He was a member of a gang and he was brutally killed during a streetgang fighting or in a vendetta.
4 pentacles- Money issues is another possibility. This greedy man with bloody eyes seems a bad guy who wanted all the gold, so gave him a collection of new piercings in his back while he wasnt looking.
10 pentacles- Having a life insurance is dangerous. His family conspired to receive the money and now they are on vacation in Italy.
The Tower- A passional crime is always possible. The history could go like this: his wife had a lover who stabbed him to death and burned the house to destroy the evidences. Now they are comitting suicide because is more romantic than get caught by the police. Typical ending.
4 cups- We dont have to discount the possibility of the psycho. That guy was bored to death, so he simply did it to try how it was. He is not sane, he was having some hallucinations about a flying grail. But if you ask, everyone will tell you he was a normal guy.
Now we need to find some evidences for the potential suspects in the surrounding environment:
9 pentacles- The wife was unsatisfied with him and doesnt give a damn.
7 pentacles- The gardener is trying to find the best place to dig and bury the cold meat.
9 cups- The fat capo of the rival gang looks really satisfied with the results. You dont need to interrogate this proud godfather to know he is hidding something under that robe where he is exhibiting his trophys.
Atfer analyzing the situation, inspector Hermit decides to close the case because it cant be resolved. Too many things going around the life of that guy.
But while he ends the summary, the High Priestess is smiling in the temple. She knows the truth, she knows what the others dont know just looking inside her soul... :smoker:
Oh, sorry if i've wrote the entire novel of the tarot crime series but im bit bored and with some time to waste now.
