Tarot Deck Awards

I was on ebay recently (due to my unabashed tarot collecting addiction) and I noticed one of the listings claiming "the best minor arcana" (I think it was for the Robin Wood). Which gave me an idea. How about an award ceremony for decks? We could come up with categories--like best minor arcana, best color scheme, most original deck, best moon card--and then we could vote! Anyone want to create some categories? Arcana

I'll start brainstorming categories and get back to you tomorrow evening! (So far I'm thinking things like: best Celtic-themed deck, best "dark" deck, easiest to read, prettiest deck, best court cards, etc. Best Moon card because that's my favorite card in the deck...) Arcana

So far, I really like the idea of: Best Minor Arcana Best Dark Deck Best Celtic-themed deck Best Court Cards Best Card Back Best deck for Impressing Other People Best Collector's Deck I'd also add: Best deck for Children Weirdest Deck Deck with the Most Nekkid People Scariest Deck Most Boring Deck Worst Deck Ever Best Pagan deck Best Egyptian-themed deck Best Multicultural deck Prettiest Deck Best un-published Deck/Deck in progress Best Beginner's Deck In fact, I'll start a thread now... Best Minor Arcana - Tarot of the Cat People (I have a thing for fluffy kitties, and I love the scenes; they really inspire me) Best Dark Deck - The Gothic (not the one of photographs of graves, the other one) with the Vampire in close second Best Celtic-themed deck - I'll have to abstain, I don't have any of this type Best Court Cards - Adrian - I LOVE these! Best Card Back - Adrian (again) Best deck for Impressing Other People - Hmmmm, I've never thought about this, out of my collection, probably the Adrian (yet again! Yeah, I'm boring) Best Collector's Deck - the deck I really really REALLY want (Phil, if you're reading this, here's what to get me for my birthday...)... Le Tarot du Chat. I love it, all the anthropomorphism. I'm a total cat person, and it's so beautifully drawn. But... way out of my budget if I want to afford uni.
