Hi all,
This is the third game of '20 Questions'. In this game you have to guess what card I am, from the Spirual Tarot this time, by asking 20 yes/no questions. You cannot ask another question until your first one has been answered, and you can only guess what the card is after all 20 questions have been asked and answered.
I will reply either yes, no, or irrelevent to your questions.
No questions involving: suits, numbers, major or minor
Questions should be based on image
What card am I?

Let's see. We've got a female and male. More than one person on card. No water or tools.
Are there more than 2 people?
No fair, Mystice Zyl! Aren't we supposed to ask all 20 questions before a guess? :)

Well I am not sure if it fair to guess because I have it narrowed down to 4 cards!
It would only take two more questions to get the right card and we are only at question 9.
So I'll just do what the Eight of Cups does, happy?

Is it the winning or the taking part that's more important?
I'll refer you to the first post in the thread.
To answer your question: It makes me happy if it makes you happy. Please, I insist, do what makes you happy. :)
How many professionals do you reckon know the answer? })
You do have a point though... I do wonder if we really need 20 questions before a guess is allowed? Perhaps 10 questions would be more appropriate?

20 questions is the name of the game- and that's how it's supposed to be played, with 20 questions- BUT- the difference here is we are working with one specific 'thing' not everything in the world-
With a deck- 10 questions- that narrows down the deck quite efficiantly.....so perhaps we could play 13 (just for kicks) Questions from now on?
what happened to Kiama?---yoo-hoo?

When I have played twenty questions, it is a maximum of twenty questions, if you can get it on the first guess, fine.... more points. My understanding of the game is that the object is to get it in as few questions as possible.

I'm back on here to play a bit. Let's see...
- more than one person
- a female
- a man
- no water
- no tools
- no animals
- windows
So my question is:
Is the Lady dressed in PINK?
P.S. Kiama must be at Witchfest in Croydon... ;)

Okay then, we'll play this by firemaiden's rules: try to get it in as few guesses as possible, but if it's not guessed within 20 questions YOU ALL LOSE!! Mwa ha ha ha...
Yes, there is some plant life in the scene.
Nope, it's not the 2 of Cups
Yes, there are more then 2 people.
Yes, there is a lady dressed in pink.
Another addition to the rules to make the game a bit more fun: (Not to pick on Mystic Zyl -please come back now!- but to give the game added intensity....) If somebody guesses the particular card and gets it wrong, they're out? What do you think? It won't take effect this game, because that's a bit unfair, but as a rule for the successive games maybe.
Ah, trial and error. :D

trial-n-error indeed- playing rummy with some people is hard- every one plays by different rules-
I think it is a good idea to sway the questions towards the image by incorporating the 'card guess' rule. It would keep the game going and interesting-

Ah, I'm afraid you're out Pollux! It isn't the 4 of Wands.
Kiama
Edited to add: Actually, it's my fault Pollux is out, so we'll let him back in. There is a MAN in what looks like a pink dress. Not a woman. Sorry about that Pollux, you're back in.
It's a man, ladles and jellyspoons, a man.

Just to recap, the card does have plant life, though it is very sparse and bare... (And not very noticeable, though it's there!) They're more twigs really. (Clue!)
There is a man wearing pink.
There are males and females in the card, and more than two people at that.
There isn't any water, tools, or animals.
But there is a window in the scene.
Nope, it's not the 6 of Pentacles, or the 10 of Pentacles.
