I'm going to start a story to include tarot cards. The rules are this: 1. Each person has one sentence at a time 2. Each sentence has to include at least one card 3. Try to make it funny!!! 4. End your sentence with: .... 5. Our aim is to try and make this story as long as possible 6. Cards can be mentioned more than once 7. Sentences can be as long or short as you like i.e. can be one word 8. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE FUN!! Here goes: The story begins with Dave who was looking through his deck of tarot cards and realised the ten of cups was missing so....

So Dave laid out the entire deck on his living room floor. The characters in the cards became animated and began chattering and pointing all which ways, trying to give him thier take on the missing card......

I happened to look back at the very beginning and realized I have not been following all the rules of this fun game. I believe others may have slipped here and there too. So to help all, I thought it might be a good idea to refresh memories before continuing this story. Anyway, here are the rules Moonbow started this all with: 1. The horses/unicorns/sphynx/dragons/creatures pulling the Chariot lept forward instantly & they were down the hole in a race after the 2 of Cups. It fluttered, pale, ahead of them in the dark. "Man, that card can really go! But we'll catch up." said the Chariot driver. "Wonder what's put a bee in his bonnet? Hey, what's that?"......

In front this stranger stood a solid black block of...something, and placed on top was a pentagram, an atheme, a chalice, and a wand. He waved his arms to and fro in the air and muttered a few words, incorherant to Dave and the Driver of the Chariot. David cleared his throat to try and catch the MAGICIAN's attention. "Pardon us, Sir, but by chance have you seen the Two of Cups run out of this tunnel?" The Magician lowered his hands to chest level, placing them palms together in front of him, bowed his head and started to hum. David and the Chariot Driver looked at one another. .....Dave and the Chariot driver (who was in fact the Knight of Cups) listened carefully to what the High Priestess had to say, which was very difficult as most of it was very supernatural and secret, in the end they decided to.............

"Have one on us!" he said, "The bartender can blend you anything you want, but remember, MODERATION! Always MODERATION!" "Is this some kind of Temperance meeting?" Dave asked. "No, we're celebrating a wedding, you have to have your wits about you when we start playing Twister". Dave looked at his driver, his driver looked at Dave. Both just shook their heads. "Want to head out of here? This place is just too strange & we have to follow wherever that card went." "Fine by me," said the driver/King of Cups. "Doesn't look like they've got any beer anyways". He leaned forward & yelled "On you huskies! Mush! Get that card!".....

So Dave and the King of Cups chased after the Ace of Cups, who they noticed had now joined up with that sneaky Two of Cups! "There they go," said the King to Dave as they raced after the two cards. "Yeah," replied Dave, "but we're still missing the Ten of Cups." The Ace and Two darted this way and that, until they reached the edge of this pool and dove in. But the two men almost didn't notice this, since they were so distracted by the gorgeous, skyclad woman standing next to the pool's edge, glowing under the Star that floated above her head. The two men stood staring at her, their mouths agape, until the woman said to them,"...

...."Stick your tongues back into your mouths." Oops! Both guys cleared their throats and tried to look more respectful. "Uh, have you, that is..." The King of Cups started. "We're looking for three cards," blurted Dave. "Have you seen them?" She stood up slowly, but still trickling the water into the pond from the porcelain jug in her hands. "There is always hope in any endeavor. But then you know that." She gestured up into the sky, "why just LOOK at all the stars up there, each one a wish of someone, each one shining so bright that it stands out as a beacon." "But the cards....um, they're not up in the sky, they came past here," said Dave. She put both hands on her hips, the jug sloshing. "Well if you're going to be like THAT, then what use am I?" And she huffed off. "Good going Dave," the King mumbled. "Hey! That wasn't much help at all & I'm getting confused about this whole thing! You know?" The King of Cups looked around. "She seems to have disappeared, but there's someone over there." He pointed to the right. "Can't quite make it out, but I THINK there's more than one person between the trees out there a ways"......

Dave decided to listend to the King of Cups, he was the ruler of the cards they were looking for after all. They headed in the direction the King had pointed and came upon two people, a man and a woman, both just as naked as the woman they had seen at the pond. And between them was standing one of the angels from the meadow....

(Moonbow, maybe we should change Rule 1. We don't seem to be following it very well, do we? Maybe we should change rule 5, too, and start a new story when we get to say, 200 replies? To keep it a game and keep people interested, say the person ends the story at 200 gets to start the next one. :) Got your e-mail, too. Feel free to jump in. Oh, and I turned on my PM.
