Telephone

When the telephone rings when you are doing a reading, do you stop to answer it? I don't, unless I'm waiting for an important call. I think this makes the reading more personal.

Yes I do, because the ringing would have distracted me already anyway.

I hardly ever answer my phone anyway. And I would never interrupt a reading, my dinner, a nice DVD, a great book, or if I have visitors, etc. etc. to answer it. That's what answering machines are for. People leave messages and I phone them back when my mind is free to talk to them.

I turn off the ringer and let the answering machine get the message....... :)
