Sister Brigid couldn't help help it; her young and compassionate heart went out to every helpless creature, from stray puppies to old lonely ladies. She had become a nun in order to serve all people-to care for many not just one. Then Larry Dinneen came into her life, with his two appealing children who so craved a mother's love. Her friend Father Porter Woods watched with concern as Brigid tried to choose between her holy vocation and her awakening needs as a woman. For guidance, she turned to God, and her answer came in a most surprising form.
This papagraph was taken from Flesh and Spirit by Elizabeth Christman.

4 of Cups. See three (guy and two kids) cups, but is thinking about other things as well. Then the one (as opposed to the all) is presented.

Some really great answers, but not the one I was thinking of. I know this situation had many cards that would be appropriate responses.
Sorry no.

AHhh.... yes.... the Empress (she fell pregnant! }))...
but as Lady Mary has already posted this... how about the other card which is often depicted as pregnant: Queen of Swords?

Well I originally thought the Empress, but I thought that was too obvious. I had another thought which I also thought would be kind of obvious, but I'll say it now.
The Queen of Cups?

Yes, Lady Mary is correct, it is the Empress. I am glad you solved
this so quickly.

Aw no fair. I knew I should have said the Empress :D
I just thought no....that's WAY too obvious. I assumed that's why nobody else guessed it. What a dirty trick, Mystic_Zyl :)

Yep this is me a tricky............ next time is will be harder.
I did consider the answer to be the 2 of pentacles, pentacles being spirituality and also material earthly things like a family. But I thought better not to make it a Minor Arcana as this is a Major Arcana decision to be made.
