"Some men pray in the morning for the death of their passions and then spend the day in feeding them."
Taken from Pungent Paragraphs by Williams published in 1926.

I too would have first suggested the Devil...
So how about XVIII the Moon?

Wow what wonderful answers!
Diana the 2 of coins was my second choice for the answer,
however Minderwiz got the card I was thinking of.
The Reason I choose the & of Cups was that cups are emotional choices and many of them, some good, some bad. Perhaps using a RWS deck made me think 7 of cups.
Congrats Minderwiz! And nice game Diana!

Wow thanks Mystic - I must admit the first card I thought of was the Devil, but as it had already gone I re-read the quote and decided that the suggestion was one of people who are under an illusion as to what they are doing.
I'll hurry off and try and find an appropriate quote for the next game.
