The aim of this game is to construct a sentence using the three cards listed below. The game is an exercise to help see associations in the cards and link them together in one sentence.

It's a creative exercise which should be fun but might also hone your Tarot reading skills.

Artenis was going to do the next game but he seems to have disappeared temporarily only I hope, so I'm sstarting this off again.

From the Prague - but any deck will do:

2 Swords 4 Cups 9 Swords

At 13 she stood on the brink of uncertainty, driven by yearning, sadness and barely contained energy, knowing she had to fight but unable to find the enemy.

Unable to decide between Joe and Bob, she spent the weekend alone, and vegged out on late-night horror movies.

While faced with the important choice of which colour of nail polish to use, she suddenly remembered that she’d left the coffee machine on, so she dramatically left the beauty parlour – and with it her plans for a lazy, quiet afternoon – and anxiously hurried back home.

Because of a meeting of opposites, namely the confrontation of the oceanic and the continental plates, a volcano arose and erupted, awaking abruptly the sleepy town that thought nothing exciting would come their way.

As much as he wanted to sleep while studying and analysing his chemistry during the day, Pete couldn’t sleep at night, now haunted by the structural formulas of glucose and ammonium hydroxide.

One of the first revelations he had in those lonely nights after the jail sentence began was that that the problem was not that he had never had a choice but that he had been so angry all his life that he had misunderstood the choices that had been offered.

She worried constantly now...about whether or not she should have taken the job offer in Phoenix, and how often they fought about it, even though there seemed to be a calm stalemate after the most recent argument.

She stood in the doorway in stunned silence as she watched her beloved husband make love to a stranger in their bed; she had known that he was feeling frustrated with her long working hours and responsibilities, but how could he betray her, when they were one heart, one soul... how?

STOOD UP AGAIN! poor girl cried herself to sleep!

"Mommy!, or, if she is unavailable...Daddy!, come quick, there's a monster under my bed and, and, and....I don't really care actually...."

firemaiden  04 Dec 2003
Hahahah. My vote goes to Lawguy51, who sounds like he actually has children :D :D

After she spent time with the tall dark stranger, she found he wasn't for her so went back to her old friends who had moved on and left her behind.

A woman pushed her way through the circle of friends, and into the middle she stood ready to take action...

Deny your dreams and you'll have nightmares.

Well it was hard to choose but Spoonbender, your contribution seemed to blend all the cards in a unique way, so I'd like to pass the baton on to you!

It means that you choose three cards and give an example of what the game is about in a new thread - and leave it to us to follow on.

After three days or so you choose the one you like best and pass the baton on to someone else!

I'll pm you as well.

thank you, Moongold (I've also sent you a pm)!
I'm off now to start the new thread...
