Unfortunately, No, not 'The Devil' Indigo, but a good try. It could have been the Devil, there are some similarities to the meaning of the Devil card in the quote but that wasn't the card I had in mind. keep trying though. Hi Gloria, Not Strength, but good try. I really like this quote too ! It certainly is elusive and there are many cards that fit the bill. It wasn't the strength card I had in mind, but certainly it would fit just as well as what I am thinking of. This way in which Vincent 's mind worked eventually drained him. There was a strength needed. Keep trying.

Hi there Matt and Lala, I had thought of the moon, but it was my second thought. Lala is the winner, :D ... The chariot to me is about an inner struggle between thoughts and desires. A time of excersising mental dicipline and a need to use your mind but emotions must still be considered. This quote from Van Gogh was a strong indication of the inner struggle he endured, that in the end drained him of his strength. Well done Lala, Your turn Now !! Dark Eyes.
