I got this idea from another thread in Talking Tarot. Hope you all have some fun with it.
The rules are simple. The clue must be given as it would on Jeopardy and the answer must be given as a question. :)
For example, the person giving the clue will write it like this:
Clue: This card is the seventh in the major arcana.
And when a person answers, they will write it like this:
Answer: What is the Chariot?
Or
Clue: On the Rider-Waite coin card, the man giving money to the needy holds this in his left hand.
And then:
Answer: What is a scale?
Or
Clue: This Rider-Waite card could be said to show the result of Dumas's Musketeers all stabbing a lover.
Answer: What is the Three of Swords?
It will be a bit more fun if the clues can be given more riddle-like, of course. Also, if your clue is related to the picture, it would be helpful if you tell what deck you are refering to.
When a person answers correctly, that person then gets to give the next clue. I think it would be ok if they gave it in this thread instead of starting a new one.
Here is the first clue. Hope you have fun.
Clue: "And if I die no soul shall pity me..." refers to the The Shakespearian Tarot's card that has the meaning of change, end of one thing to allow another to begin.

Congratulation's LadyMedusa. Hope I didn't make it too easy, but didn't want to make it too hard either. Glad you remembered to put in the form of a question or you could not have been given the win. :) You get to give the next clue. Make it a good one and have fun. :)

BlueManticore,
I only got it so quickly because that is a deck I recently started working with, so some of the quotes are very fresh in my mind.
I have posted a new answer in a new thread. Good Luck !!!
