"IF LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS - MAKE LEMONADE!!!

What card am I?

Mystic Zyl  14 Jan 2004
Empress, she is the ceative one, that can make pop corn a banquet.

joya250  14 Jan 2004
hee hee... I recently saw it written: "if life give you lemons... stick 'em in your bra." ;)

okay... back to tarot... my guess is: oh, it could be so many! I will go with my third guess, The Hanged Man. As it is all a matter of perspective.

Diana  14 Jan 2004
If you're following Rider Waite cards, which I suppose, I would guess 5 of Pentacles (I think.... I mean the card with those two freezing cold people that look like they've come out of a Charles Dickens story.)

gloria  14 Jan 2004
Mystic...you're on the right lines there.
Joya (angel-in-training?) :) ...bit of a lop-sided view that.
And Diana....brrrr...are you suggesting the freezing couple could do with a hot lemon drink? :)
Sorry guys. :(

Good guess Diana...but not the one.

joya250  14 Jan 2004
haha. okay... for my NEXT guess... how about the 2 of pentacles??? As it is all a balancing act. You got a lemon on one hand, why not use the other hand to make lemon-aid... ? Shift of focus, priority, etc. ... Ya?

velvetmirage  14 Jan 2004
How about the Magician? Using what you've got to do what you need to do.

Dark_angel  14 Jan 2004
The Fool? It sounds like the kind of positive thinking that would help him on his journey.

MattDouglas  14 Jan 2004
Lovers....... since it represents choice.
Trash 'em or make lemonade.
Love 'em or leave 'em.

The magician's a better answer, but I've been beat to it, so I'll go with the Lovers.

CreativeFire  14 Jan 2004
My guess is Queen of Wands.

She can represent versatility and creativity and even perhaps a generous friend who is willing to share when she makes lemonade for you. She will then enjoy being admired and put centre stage for her creative display of turning the ordinary into the stimulating or refreshing!

CreativeFire

Lady Mary  15 Jan 2004
My guess is TEMPERANCE. She's the mixer and the blender, so why not lemon lemonade.

Dark Eyes  15 Jan 2004
Five of cups............

Don't cry over spilt milk?????

you cant change the situation, so just accept it and make the most of it????? :D

Black dragon  15 Jan 2004
How bout the king of pentacles. he's a nice entrapenair type businessly minded.

Yeah, but you could cut it in half :D.

My guess was the Magician, but since it's taken then I'll go for...7 of pentacles.

Blessings,
Agathe

I can't believe no-one has got it yet!..... I thought this was gonna be soooo easy for you!
A big welcome to VelvetMirage...thanks for posting here...always good to see a new 'face' in this department.
Sorry folks. :(

Jewel-ry  15 Jan 2004
Ace Wands?

J :)

Mystic Zyl  15 Jan 2004
I liked VelvetMirage's answer too, in fact so much I did not post an answer I was so sure that was the answer.

Jewel-ry beat to the ace of wands, so ........

9 of cups.....wishing to make the best of things...also lots of cups for lemonade.

gloria  15 Jan 2004
I'm worried that a lot of you may have over-dosed on lemons here!
VelvetMirage's idea of 'using what you have' is spot on, but The Magician is not the card I had in mind.

Dark_angel  15 Jan 2004
Two of Pentacles? Having to use what you have until you get more, and just making the best of it.

spoonbender  15 Jan 2004
Uhm... 2 of wands? :confused:

MattDouglas  15 Jan 2004
3 of Cups....

and from the way their dancing that's some good lemonade.

velvetmirage  15 Jan 2004
Three of Pentacles?

CreativeFire  15 Jan 2004
How about The Sun?

This is a guess from left field - but it could be The Sun brings a strong sense of enthusiasm - the Sun's energy is of the "can do" variety. Its joyful energy has a positive influence - an emphasis on action and positive thought - therefore receiving lemons and thinking positively what can be done with them - lemonade!

Dark Eyes  15 Jan 2004
8 of pentacles.... ?

Working hard for what you want no matter how difficult it can be?

Majecot  16 Jan 2004
I am thinking it must be the Star....

Black dragon  16 Jan 2004
hmm this is definately an impressive quote!!!

I think Majecot might have got it, the star was gonna be my next guess anyway!

Erm well maybe if this is more metaphorical lemons and lemonade, I suppose it might be the "King of Cups" with him being all diplomatic and stuff.

Black Dragon

gloria  16 Jan 2004
No still no, I can't believe it!
A clue maybe?
Speaking metaphorically here, (hope that's the right word) if I were to make a wonderfully refreshing and tasty drink from a couple of sour and bitter tasting old lemons, I'd feel that I had 'succeeded' in creating something more worthwhile and beneficial for me rather than leaving them in the bowl to shrivel up and go hard.
(NO good for the bra then Joya! :))

It's about succeeding in making full use of the skills we already possess.
The more I read this the less clear it becomes, so over to you! :)

Dark_angel  16 Jan 2004
High Priestess?

We'll get there eventually, probably about a third of the way through the deck by now! lol.

joya250  16 Jan 2004
ooooh! ooooh! me!

SIX OF WANDS???

gloria  16 Jan 2004
Oh Dear!!
Looks like I'll have to do a list of cards guessed too!
Sorry Dark_Angel and Joya, not the ones, going off beam a bit.
G.

MattDouglas  16 Jan 2004
Strength?

Using your instinstual energy, rather than letting it use you and mess things up.

Dark Eyes  16 Jan 2004
Ace of wands........ ?? :D

gloria  17 Jan 2004
Sorry DarkEyes and Matt but again no.
2 clues:-
Not a Major
It's also about success. This person didn't achieve success by sitting on her butt and accepting life's 'lemons.'

Does this help? :)

jmd  17 Jan 2004
Queen of Swords?

jmd  17 Jan 2004
Suggested cards thus far (as it is not a Major, I won't list them):

Two Coins;
Three Coins;
Five Coins;
Seven Coins;
Eight Coins;
Queen Coins;
King Coins;

Ace Wands;
Two Wands;
Six Wands;
Queen Wands;

Three Cups;
Five Cups;
Nine Cups;
King Cups;

...and my recent suggestion, the
Queen of Swords...

gloria  17 Jan 2004
Thanks for that JMD....I was getting worried there incase someone had guessed and I'd missed it.
But no to Queen of Swords. :(

jmd  17 Jan 2004
One last try...

Ten Coins/pentacles?

gloria  17 Jan 2004
Are you sure it is your last try JM?
You were almost there!

jmd  17 Jan 2004
...well, alright then, if you insist :D

How about the Queen of Cups - transforming what she is given through her inner mastery of feelings?

You didn't recognise the woman you just passed by?

jmd  17 Jan 2004
Nine Coins?!?

gloria  17 Jan 2004
This quote is about making the best of what life throws at you. Being aware of, and making use of skills we all possess in one way or another.
The Nine/Discs is about success. Not so much on a worldly level, but more to do with the success of making something of ourselves from the circumstances and conditions we have been dealt.

YOU GOT IT!!!!!
Thank goodness JMD...people here are still waiting for breakfast!

Over to you JM. :)

jmd  17 Jan 2004
Thanks gloria...

now they can enjoy breakfast! :)

...now to find a ... a... a one line quote, and then retire for the night :)
