I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you're licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what.
Harper Lee (1926 - ), To Kill a Mockingbird, 1960
So - what card am I?

10 of Swords!
It's been seen through to the (rather nasty) end!

I think its 7 of wands. The one guy in the card is trying to fight 6 other guys, he knows he is outnumbered and the outlook doesnt look good but he fights anyways.

these are all such good answers already....hmmm...My thought is that it is the 9 of Wands.

My initial thought is Justice, based on the quotation and its place in the story.
I love that book!

Interesting and thought-provoking answers everybody! Thanks for taking part.
And we have a winner:-
Chronata!
Congratulations!!!
According to the LWB for my standard RWS deck, the 9 Wands "signifies strength in opposition. If attacked, the subject of the card will meet the onslaught boldly...Generally speaking, a bad card".
Miss_Apples - if there was a second place you'd have it, as that was a close runner-up for me.
So, Chronata - take it away!

Cool! Thanks! I have never won this particular game before!
(I was sure that Miss_apples had it!)
I will endeavor to find a suitable quote by the end of today!
