There are many fish in the ocean that swim and swirl,
but it's the oyster that turns water into Pearl;
Ideas numerous, as many drops as the ocean can hold,
but it's the person who can turn ideas into gold.
Which card am I? :)

Page of Swords? The Earthy part of Air: putting ideas to work...
Kiama

That's a good guess Kiama - so seeing I can't have it I'll go boring and go for the 8 of Pentacles - hard work required to make pearls and gold :)

All good answers....but not the one.
I see no-one's gone for the obvious then.

Sorry Minderwiz but no...it ain't the one.

The Magician?

Well that would have been my next guess - but I think you could well be right Oak Dragon

Just in case OakDragon's wrong . . . King of Cups?

I always had the Magician in mind when I read these few lines, which was why I didn't choose this particular card, thinking it would be too obvious. Again I have been proven wrong.
You've come up with some good guesses, but still not the one.

Page of Cups! He has the fish!

My guess is the Knight of Pentacles - I know he is slow and steady but the bit about the oyster makes the pearl, which is done very slowly over time ...

Suggested cards thus far:I Magician
XIIII Temperance
King Wands
Page Cups
King Cups
Knight Coins
Ace Swords
Page Swords
If it's none of the ones above, how about

I'll go for the Seven of Pentacles - it needs perseverance to make pearls and indeed to turn ideas into gold

CreativeFire, I really like the idea of Knight/Pents slowness associated with making of pearl...I wish I had thought of that.
None of you have guessed so far.
Remember the clue I gave about Kiama being closest in a way.

Hmmm - Kiama said the Earthy part of Air and putting ideas to work - I can think of several that could fit that, but you said 'in a funny sort of way' and I'm not good at 'twisting logic' :)
However I'll have a go for the Star - sense of direction, special talents, higher knowledge, personal development - on the hope that the 'gold' is not material but spiritual

Page of Coins?

Hmmm... I'll go with my second guess:
3 of Coins... Somebody putting their ideas to work and slowly watching them take form.

It doesn't take that much twisting Minderwiz......and I'm afraid this isn't spiritual wealth involved here.
Really good answers but still not the one I have in mind.
A few more for the list here jmd. :)

I think I'm having a five of cups day :( Not a clue so I'll have one more totally silly guess and then take a 4 of Swords
The Empress - creative, fecund, material goodies, succesful results of hard work and begins with 'M' (well phonetically :) )

If you twist Kiama's elements around in her very first guess you should be home and dry. :)

The Air of Earth then:
Kinght of Pentacles

Sorry tmgrl...not 6/pents.
The elements of the card I chose are Air of Earth....but that isn't Knight/Pents as far as I am aware.
Sorry Minderwiz but this card has already been ruled out.

King of Pentacles then? (I'm twisting elements around, and I know some see Kings as Air...)

Looking back on Minderwiz's last post I'm wondering if he meant to say King of Pents. I should have given him the benefit of the doubt on that.
I'd like to hear from him before I go any further.

No, I don't win. I went for the Knight of Pentacles on the basis that under the system I use it is the Air of Earth (From A. T. Mann) However, firstly I missed Knight of Coins in the guess list and indeed had ruled out Air of Earth as a guess up to Gloria's big hint
Kiama wins - because she at least took notice of the guesses that had already been made.

Thanks Minderwiz. My fault entirely for not taking into account other's systems, and I do apologise.
Yes Kiama the King/Pents it is.
This guy is a shrewd cookie……he is the one able to turn ideas into money! (Air of Earth)
The King with the Midas touch!
And now....over to you. :)

No probs Gloria,
Strangely the Page of Swords is the Earth of Air in the System I use (from A. T. Mann) so I never bothered to recheck what had gone before.
Well done Kiama, I look forward to your clue :)
