All great guesses, but none were the card I have in mind. Hi Gloria, yes, I get the same feeling when I hear this song ! Songs have a way of touching sensitive areas, this one does it for me too. Amazing how a song can get you through difficult times and somehow work on your feelings to help you to achieve positive and powerful thoughts to carry on. Dakota, Yes !! That is it exactly !! I was seeing the strength that the person who had to carry on ... had gained. The strength to tell her ex to get lost because she didn't need him to be an independent person and move forward. She (or he) had used their strength of character, their internal strength and was truly over it. One needs to lean on their reserves to get over a relationship that is negative, that undermines one.
