Still not what I was thinking. I am surprised no one has said the tower...which is also not it..... The boy goes through all of those thoughts and possiblities (or lack there of) for his mother, to finally come to the conclusion of being alone inside. The conclusion is NOT the card I am thinking of...(Strength or Emperor would be decent conclusion cards.)

Yes, the poor kid looks at all the important things in life that people consider protection, and determines that absolutly NONE of them help in that situation, and the only thing you have left is yourself, and he didn't think either of them were up to it.....but when push comes to shove, who knows how they would react.
