Not 10 of cups, lionette...although I can see where that would fit as an end to the process for this card.
No, jmd, not World, although again, as the end, yes.
I have another in mind.

I'll say...
The Hanged Man.
He's upside-down but that's okay, and he's okay.

So far: 10 Cups
World
Sun
Hierophant
Hanged Man............
Not yeeetttt.....
I love these. Many of us say at the beginning..."I hope it isn't too obvious." I was thinking that. That's why these are fun, because they reflect our thoughts at a moment in time when we see a quote and up pops a card in the mind.

No, not Ace of Cups, either.
Clue: "Be careful what you wish for."

Off the wall idea with the star?

Nope...not the Star (Terri begins to question her maybe "offbeat" interpretation of the quote, but the card she has in mind was what first came to mind)...

7 of Cups? (I think of it as the "wishful thinking" card)

YES! That's it! You're up for the next clue arcanalefait...
I thought of it as "Be careful what you wish for." We often want material things and when they are offered to us and we open ourselves up to them, and even get what we (think) we wanted, we find out we were really happy without them, or that they don't necessarily bring us happiness.
It can be a "temptation card" too, but it's the card that popped into my head when I read the quote.

Yup...pick a quote from literature, have a card in mind that comes to you from it ( or vice versa, pick a card and if it reminds you of a quote, find quote, post it) and you're off and running.
Looking forward to it!
