From the Illustrated I Ching:
30
SYNERGY
"Synergy. There is an advantage in correct persistence that results in progress. Caring for the docile cow brings good fortune.
Intelligence (fire) shines twice forming the condition for Synergy. An enlightened person, therefore, perpetuates the cultivation of intelligence until it illuminates the four quarters of the earth."
Translated by R.L. Wing
Well here we go again everybody.
I wish you all luck.
Have fun, and to any Dads, Happy Father's Day!
Edited to add:
I read the entire explanation provided by R.L. Wing under the hexagram text, and it influenced my choice. Many cards will fit this hexagram, but I chose the most synergistic one, in my opinion anyway!

Ah..... I love these games! They are good tests of calm and patience :D
Now it may depend on which deck. I'm not sure of the rules so you can perhaps offer me some latitude?
If it is the Tarot of Prague ~ 4 Pentacles?
If it is the RWS 7 Pentacles?
But it could be XXI World
Mmmmmm..........?

4 Pentacles
7 Pentacles
XXI World
All really great ideas for this hexagram. None of which is the answer, sorry my friend.
The World was one of my top choices for this hexagram, you know the four quarters reference. And then I thought of what I finally settled on and while it isn't blatantly obvious, it fits.
Have another go and I'll check in when I can.
Best of luck, mates!
G'day
(Love that)

Sounds like the King of Pentacles to me.
Body of the spirit. He sits on his throne sated, but cultivating the entire kingdom.

Ah....... 3 Wands?
Three Wands is about quiet persistence, and the character looks out towards all corners of the World. In Tarot of Prague, the figure stands before a docile cow!

ooooooo, Moongold, I was thinking about the 3 of Wands too! Well, how about Temperance, for balanced emotions and energy, without which one cannot cultivate intelligence.........
:D
That silly ol' Elf must be busy celebrating those birthdays and anniversary! (Dakota taps her foot impatiently.........)

7 Pentacles
XXI World
Whoooaaaa Nellie!
Okay, very nice to see such eagerness!
Sorry to say that-
Hierophant
King of Pentacles
3 of Wands
Magician
Temperance
were not my choices!
And I must admit, Moongold gets extra points for the docile cow! IGNORE THE COW! The cow does not come into play, and I apoloigze for not saying that earlier! However docility can come into play with the energy of the card.....
Yikes. What a group.

Sorry jmd, not it.
A clue from the text of R. L. Wing:
"When two elements approach each other in such a way that the scope of what they can achieve far surpasses the total of what they could achieve separately, they are acting with Synergy."
Alright then.
Have at it.

Neither 5 of Wands nor Chariot is what I am thinking about.
Think about the approach........

Go Lionette! Great Job!
Lovers have lots of Synergy right?
And two people in love can create Synergy in others too!
Also, Lovers can create Life, although life can be created without Lovers, ie implantation......
But anyway....yes the Lovers.
Good for you!
